I got five or so exceptional tin swords if anyone is actively adventuring and wants em. I'll hold onto em for a few days before I just NPC em.

So right now I'm mostly just dinking about on my own.  I need access to more and easier fuel.  The "charcoal place" has too long of a cooldown

I'm also pile-driving into bronze working, and will be going up in tiers about as soon as I'm able!

The easiest source of fuel is lignite. It requires the stone trade, but if you can afford the training, it should be relatively quick to train it (lignite requires 8 extracting IIRC). Then you could recruit one or more labourers to gathering it for you and thus have a constant fuel source.

Edit: alternatively, you could strike a deal with someone with the stone trade to exchange lignite for chisels or something like that.

This is something I can do, I have decent extracting, and would be more than willing to dig up piles of lignite to trade for crafting consumables (And higher quality tools.)

Well, my progress lately has been somewhat screwed by some unexpected quest. So I give a warning to everyone concerning the quest involving Lucia and Leon (the quest starts in Orogoi Forest, so it might be a while for most people): do not start it if you plan to do some companion juggling in the near future. The quest adds both as companions, even if it brings you above you limit, but they still count toward that limit. So if you can't finish the quest quickly you end up quite limited in your ability to switch companions in and out. These 2 can't be stored in a concession and the quest requires to have either 14 leadership skill or, I think, 10 commerce.

A question to the Jewelers we have. What kind of glass do you peeps need to make your glass jars and amps? Let me know. I can make the glass. I've been able to for a while. The spreadsheet just gives me a damn migraine so I don't check it that often. However, Stonehands, Let me know that we have a few Jewelers with a shortage of glass. So hit me up. ~Xardalas

I've gathered the silver and am picking up Stone, to go along with my Metal.  Which profession is it that can utilize gems, though?

Also, does anyone know if your skill level increases drops or decreases time on activities, at all?

Glass and files, files made through the Forging skill. I've been leaving Jewelry off to the side to focus on Stone, since it's a tier-1 discipline, but I wouldn't mind picking it back up if I can get the backing for it.

I'll have some files ready for you whenever you'd need them. It takes no time to make them, and copper is the best material for them so it's cheap.

I understand that. But what KIND of glass? There are like six kinds that I know of. And the recipes for them are expensive. I'd like to know what kinds you need so I don't blow large amounts of coins on dozen different recipes. Also, What is the strength of the file you need? Send me a mail message in game and I'll look into it. I don't have a price set on files so it's something I'll have to look into.

You're going to need all the recipies anyways. Get Casadir and Drosade. Casadir is used in those flasks, I think. Drosade is used in many things, basically a ++ version of Casadir in the case of tools.

That's true. That doesn't mean I want to shell out all the coins for all of them right now though. I'll just grab the two basic ones and start from there.
