Do we actually have a guild?
I'd be suprised if we did, will take ALOT of gold to get one. There might be one or two so far that has a house but I think that is it.

We're still working on guild yeah, don't have anywhere near the gold.

Apparently right now our lowest profession is probably fashioning/jewelery, that branch. But I don't think we have a comprehensive list yet.

I have roughly 10 jewlery, but its the lowest of the fashion that I have, But there isn't much in that line initially that is helpful except for maybe if your just shy of being able to work in an area.

I didn't even notice ampules are made from jewelery, I guess I should start making some...maybe, I'll have to see if there is some glass available.

Fauna is good even if its just for the taming aspect, having a reletively cheap source of fighters can help with dungeons which can help you gain money.

Pair it with Fauna and then Fashion (triple F!) then you'll become a jeweller or clothmaker.

Its a viable job, buy oatmeal, tame stags, sell to the farm. It should be warned that it can be a bit slow.

Its a viable job, buy oatmeal, tame stags, sell to the farm. It should be warned that it can be a bit slow.

Sorry, I meant Flora/Fauna/Fashion combination. When I read 'tree' somehow I thought you took Flora.

Fauna is useful to get powerful combat companions (animals) via Taming and materials (animal bits like leather and bones) required for Fashion via Hunting. Flora is useful to make potions via Herbalism and produce materials for Fashion via Hotriculture. The three trades have great synergy, but it's advisable to start with either Flora or Fauna instead of Fashion.

Since I a wood I have been trying to get my carptry and wood crafting skills up to my cutting skills. This means sitting at the one camp and choping trees for a few hours, then building those trees into planks, and the planks into what ever other nonsense will give me skill ups.

Anyone know of a better way to raise skills?

Brewing?  Welp this will now have almost everything I want out of crafting rpg.

I would assume alchemy, it already has and uses stills.  Add spirits with some having some kind of potion like buff and other kinds used as ingredients in other alchemy/crafting.

Edit: Would also allow adding mores stuff for horticulture to produce.

I can't decide what to go with for my secondary skillset. If I started with metal, should I take Alchemy, Archeology or Stone?

Archaeology isn't a trade set by it's self, it falls under exploration.  Also costs only 1 silver to train.

If you go stone you can get your own fuel and make chisels to cover your training needs as a cutter.

Alchemy you could make charcoal, which may be better in the long run over extracting but it takes more upfront to do over just going to the lignite quarry.

Edit: also with stone you could get sand to make glass.
