I highly recommend to take the guide, because he gives bonuses on travelling and working on all environments (plains, mountains, etc.)

Will do. So the Big Guy is useless for now?

You can take him to progress with you, if you want to start adventuring in dangeous sites full of monsters. Otherwise, yes, it's useless.

So correct me if I am wrong but to recruit a companion, you need to reach 400% cumulative presence. The guide has 80% presence, meaning I need (400% / 80% =) 5 recruitment attempts to get him?

Exactly. Companions with 100% = 4 Attempts, companions with 80% = 5 Attempts, and so on.

The formula is: 400%/ (companion presence %)= number of attempts required.

Looks interesting, is combat a prevailing thing? I dont wanna spend all my time trianing crafting jsut to end up maimed by an enraged bear in the woods.

Also, while focusing on certain things seems to be recommended, is it possible to train multiple fields later on? I like to be self sustainable eventually. (Worst case, I will have to twink a bit.)

Absolutely not, if you don't want to fight at all, you are free to do so (I just fought the boar in the tutorial dungeon, just because I wasn't able to tame it... :()

You can train whatever skill you want, it just takes ages to be a master of all.

This looks fairly interesting! Might actually make me play browser-based games again.

Anyone knows what anatomy does in-game? Can't seem to find any info, game guides site for it is blank, and nothing on official forums...

Also, anyone wants the referral benefit?

Anatomy is not yet implemented, it should be added soon.

Question for people that have been playing for a bit (I've only completed the tutorial), what about this game makes it "sandbox"?  I've seen standard open world rpg stuff so far but no player created content.

The economy is player-driven, if you want better quality items, or want to build a house, a shop or even a village, you have to rely to the proper human artisans.

Kelroth, do you know how guilds work?
To start a guild, we need to buy a piece of land and build the Guild Hall on it. The process requires many gold coins. After that, you can expand it with many buildings, but I haven't been in any guild yet, so my knowledge ends here.

Thank you for having listed the in-game names of the players here, I added the list in the open post. BuriBuriZaemon, I can't find your name, Elsior, in game.

Feel free to add me to the list: Knave :)

Working on  hunting/taming, but open to other suggestions. Would love to get a Bay12 guild going.

By the looks of it guild's are centered on their guild claim.  It seems to function similar to a player claim, just a LOT more expensive and providing much bigger bonuses than a player claim.

If we are planning on making a guild (which I suggest we do, 'cause it would be awesome to have a foundry and other stuff) then we should plan on getting both the money to start one together and the resources to make at least the first upgrade.  When you found a guild it has a 5 player cap, and with the first HQ upgrade you get another 5 (cap I think is 25 or so).

Also I'm Shomber the mountain loving mason, though I'll probably move into the Higharie hills (Dem Resources)

You can also add me to the list, Alexwazer in-game.

I also went for hunting/taming, but I will probably branch off to some other gathering skill soon. I have limited interest in crafting, so I would be willing to focus on gathering materials for others, assuming we aim for a B12 guild eventually.

Oh...I didn't notice you can queue actions to chain do things when your about to go offline...so something like queue up all your energy to be used gathering then rest right afterwards.

As a note, I'd really appreciate it if you could all make your names bold in the future.

How do I get un "harmed"? Do I have to sleep or will it just heal over time? Is this what these potions I've been making are for?
