Inalterability is connected to potion ingredients. The highest inalterability of the ingredients will determine the difficulty of the potion, adding on to the base difficulty of the potion.

I'm still active too - just busy with work so my play time is somewhat limited but still on almost every night to set up my queues.

Thanks for the input guys.

I definitely can get cervid meat and since I can tanning so I can put leathers in the market too. Trying to get myself a concession :3
Agreed dead bodies are too good to left unopen. xD

and to be honest I haven't touch any dungeon yet... I just get absorbed increasing my skill x3

If you find yourself with lots of spare cervid meat, Hydra Lake has a daily* turn in for five cervid meat in exchange for a few things from a loot table. You'd mostly get soft leather and salt tannin, but it also has a small chance to drop Lanfarian leathers. In 13 turn-ins, I've received two borzemian leathers and one hyperborean leather.

If you plan on pursuing fauna, you'll probably want Yraen sooner than later; he starts with 20 in both hunting and taming. Getting him requires completing Old Cabin first, which in turn requires completing Serwin Tower, however.

*Really every 18.5 hours or so.

Yeah, doing to turn-ins early on that you can is an excellent way to gather resources.

Not all turn-ins are good; the hemp fabric turn-in at Hydra Lake tends to give cotton fabric, various botany plants, and a variety of low quality clothes. I even got a rhumbular from it once. Considering the time it takes to make fabric from scratch, it's a pretty miserable return. It may have some good rare drops, but I never saw them in the 14 turn-ins I made before giving up on it.

The turn-ins page on Le Wiki is sorely lacking in data, only 2 samples for cedar and 1 for hemp fabric. 7 for deer meat though. Looks like the cedar one is a great way to get earlier access to some higher tier woods without having higher tier woodcutting. Interestingly, it seems like you can get giant oak logs from the cedar plank turn-in. There are also a couple turn-ins in the crescent theater, one for granite blocks that seems to have a mediocre table and one for copper ingots that seems to have an amazing table.

Compiling data for the loot tables on the guild spreadsheet could be an interesting project, albeit problematic.

That Hydra Lake deal sounds so awesome!! *drops all activities and rushs to the crime scene* xD

I will go to quest mode as soon I get my concession and craft full set of leather armor :)

Also when NPC restock their store?... trying to get my hand on Oak tanning :(

You can buy a full firm leather set from the npc in hawkoria, which is probably better than what you can make with what you have, if I understand where you are at properly. NPCs with limited stock restock at randomly, roughly hourly I've been told. This is to prevent super hard camping, but I suspect most of the NPCs that sell really valuable goods like the one that sells blueroc nuggets are already totally automated. That said, if you see an npc with blades or other consumables you can use, I strongly reccomend buying as much as you can. Not having to worry about consumables for however short of a length of time means more time to craft and skill.

Regarding NPC stores: I successfully camped two of them in Hawkoria city for about seven hours today. From what I could tell, they're both on 60 minute timers, give-or-take a few seconds, and the hiccups the server's been having recently delay those timers. Each store (not NPC) has its own timer, and the amount restocked is random; in one instance, one thing in the store failed to restock.

So, camping an NPC is mostly just a matter of figuring out when they restock (the tedious part), coming back every hour (the potentially logistically difficult part), and not having any competition (the mostly luck-based part). Also, having the money to buy in bulk.

If you have no luck with the NPCs, I suppose I could give/sell my NPC bought stuff so it gets put to use sooner, though my stock of tannins is low and I use it myself. This offer is for all B12ers.

I'd rank the Hawk trades in this order (greatest to least value):  Copper, granite/cedar, cervid, hemp

I've gotten several blueroc ingots out of the copper trade.  Cedar/granite have yielded equal amts of lanfar mats, cervid seems to be random stuff but is easy to get, hemp, as someone already stated, just doesn't seem to be worth the labor it takes to trade.  I may have gotten 1 or 2 silk fibers from it (over the course of 20 trades).  Typically clothes that get npc'd.

The problem with a lot of trades/dungeons is that they seem to treat this game as single-player, single-job in weird ways.  Getting weapon or clothing loot could be great if you don't have those crafts, but it's exceptionally easy to find a player who can produce higher quality of the same materials.  You may get a steel battle ax from one location, but then your buddy is producing exceptional steel sabers a week ago.
