I'm on a lot, just not very talkative. I also see and hear from others in the guild regularly. I'd say the guild is decently active, even though our in-game chat isn't (having multiple chat places doesn't help, tbh).

Our spreadsheet, on the other hand... that needs some work.

There are about 15 from Watchers of the Bay who have logged in over the past day.  Several of our more advanced/talkative players have gone idle, that probably contributes to the sense of slowdown.

I'm active. Both of me actually, since for whatever bizarre reason I got a free crossing which is fun.

On a side note, I saw a table of what potion effects used what trait of the plants at what %. Could someone repost it? Ditto if anybody has a table of what jewelery pieces have what stats on them.

The potion ingredients table (second post). Or if you have access to the guild spreadsheet, the very last tab links to another spreadsheet that has all the possible combinations and their effects tabulated (albeit with an error at higher difficulties due to diminishing returns not reflected in the original table). This works really well when placed in a database and queried.

As for jewelry, go to the jewelry page on the game guide and mouse over the gems; the affected stats and magnitudes will be in the pop-ups. (And no, I'm not a game guide zealot; the information just isn't compiled elsewhere.)

Ah, thank you. I saw the one on the spreadsheet, but I wanted the % values, for when I feel bored and want to screw around in excel or something. As far as jewelery goes, I mean the clasps/embelishments/whatever, the ones that give stuff more than just the gem's base. Like, a soft bone mount has 1 Forest/Hills/Plains, that kind of stuff.

If jewelry crafting works like potion crafting under the hood, it'd just require a linear regression to figure out the underlying behavior of the system. The problem is in getting enough components to make a meaningful regression; jewelry parts aren't exactly cheap. Incidentally, data acquisition could be crowd-sourced to the guild, and the guild spreadsheet is due for some revisions. Maybe a project to uncover how these systems work is in order?

I'm mostly sure that each material is set, because a soft bone jewelry mount has all of the same stats as say, tin, but doesn't have the same stats on it. You'd also expect every mount to have at least 1 in every single stat, which makes no sense. If that's actually the case, then it'd have to be a matter of making one of absolutely everything.

All of me is still active.  Though 5 shots interfered with me filling my queues last night.

Dlynn (Patchy on here) may have a jewelry table, I'm not sure.  I know one of our high skill jewelers was compiling info early on.

As for what you can sell as a hunter:  Cervid, bear, or boar meet should sell well.  Large piles of skins might, also, if you're not tanning them yourself.  If you're tanning them, leather stacks have always sold well for me.  Engineers go through hundreds of leather in very short time periods.  Certain bone jewelry components may sell well, though I don't know which ones.  haven't messed around with that much.

If you insist on using blades on bones, needles are the best bet. But yeah, meat and skins sell extremely well, whole dead bodies slightly less so, but that's an option. The big advantage to starting with fauna though early is taming. You can power through dungeons much more easily than other classes early because you get early access to companions that aren't total crap. A couple hulbors can easily get you through mushroom cave and serwin tower. If you do those two dungeons, you unlock a quest in hawkoria that tells you to rescue Yraen. Do it, he is your best friend. Coincidentally, the dungeon you rescue Yraen from is ridiculously easy to farm and can earn you quite a large sum if you sell all the junk to NPCs.

I'm still very active.  Pettering around with my metals, collecting materials for armor.
