10th Obsidian
Once again I wait for the seemingly inevitable demise of the fort. My plan on spamming the breeding warren didn't work because the kobold near it headed into the tunnel to "pickup equipment" and got torn apart by the zombies. The only kobold left has a missing thigh, can't stand and it currently away from all commotion. But for how long?
(also, I have no clue where this came from. Probably off of one of the necromaners?)
13th Obsidian
My last hope died with the ogre child. It was taking out zombies up until it faced the zombie unicorn.
20th Obsidian
Yes! Some animals that the merchants had have somehow broken free, no clue how and an animated axe is taking down the numbers of the zombies.
24th Obsidian
A giant badger sow skeleton throws the axe by the handle stunning it.
26th Obsidian
Come on! You can do it! Only 9 living corpses not in cages left!
2nd Granite, 138
Another year has passed. The kobold that's left, Enoneld Talkingcandles apparently is a toughie. In the year 126 he took out a muttering ogre wife. If he doesn't get up soon though he wont live at all. Heck with it, even if he survives long enough to get some more kobolds from the breeding warren.
14th Granite
All the undead are either in cages or dead again. Only a single mutilated corpse is running around in the caverns. Enoneld is still thirsty, not dehydrated but refuses to get a drink, waiting for a rescue party that may never come. I imagine the two ghosts next to him are taunting him.
16th Granite
He is now dehydrated. It wont be long till he suffers no more.
18th Granite
And with a push from a giant roach. The last corpse is dead.
20th Granite
Well? What are you waiting for?
21st Granite
Perfect timing with the caravan.
22nd Granite
The merchants, oblivious to whats going on decide to unload their goods, probably no noticing the massive amount of corpses laying down in vomit and dimple cup dye.
23rd Granite
Again with the dead walking? Stop being so melodramatic....
24th Granite
Woah, this is getting intense, a three way war is going on, fireballs are being thrown and a witch witch (not a typo) corpse is munching on a giant jack rat. In the meantime, every one is ignoring my last kobold, its as he's already dead.
26th Granite
A stray fireball has set fire to one of the muskox, the merchant is trying to run away while both orcs and zombies beat on him. I wonder what the last survivor is thinking in all this. This must be like hell to him.
1st Slate
The witch, warlock corpses are still hanging about, waiting for something to throw fireballs at.
2nd Slate
He's still not dead. I can't help but wonder if this fort is doomed to eternal living fps death, or worse.
6th Slate
How he is surviving 2 months without water, I have no clue. Also, the orcs have left this place, after they couldn't find anyone they decided to let the zombies comb through the rest of the area.
It is told that Poolwad was conquered the 8th of Slate, just as satyrs came into view. Its somewhat fitting that one of the first creatures to be seen at this fort was also the last ever seen. At the end there were yet another 200 or so undead roaming the fort and a whopping 700+ creatures that died, and died, and died yet again.
Does anyone have any requests as to where I make a fort next or are you still good with me trying to tame the glaciers?
