So, my first time running a Roll to Dodge.
AAANYWAY
This is a semi-nonstandard setup of RTD (from what I've heard), in that your goal is to not die as long as you can rather than reach a goal area or kill a goal thing.
So anyway,
STORY TIEM!
Zombies (yes, zombies) were created when some kind of obscure fungus or virus or something mutated and infected people, who went insane. Anyway, you have to fight off the zombies as long as you can.
Alright, character sheet time.
Answer the following questions IN THIS ORDER ONLY:
WHAT is your name?
WHAT is your quest?
WHAT is your favorite color?
WHAT is your greatest skill?
RESTRICTION TIEM
NO you may not have magic
YES keep it real (at least semi-real) with yo' skills (i.e. you may not be psychic or a wizard or whatever)
NO do not try to cheat in any form (not that I see how that would happen)
YES you will eventually die deal with it
I'm using what I believe to be the vanilla d6 rules:
1. You failed badly.
2. You failed.
3. You did poorly but succeeded.
4. You succeeded with grandeur.
5. You succeeded in the best way possible.
6. You went overboard and failed.
Also, I know I mentioned that you can't win, but there is also a success state brought about by your "Quest". If you fulfill your "Quest", you "did what you had to do" and technically win even if you die.
Combat is carried out like a normal roll, except I roll twice: once for you and once for the enemy. The higher number gets their roll carried out in their favor. Combat updates do not count as updates for purposes of win conditions or special power recharges. Each creature has "points", which are really different hitpoints; players have five points apiece, which are restored one hit per non-combat update, and most zombies have three, due to being decomposing bodies. Combat uses the following system:
1. You miss anyway.
2. You get a grazing hit, which takes one point.
3. You get a decent hit, which takes two points.
4. You get a good hit, which takes three points.
5. You get a great hit, which takes four points.
6. You overshoot and injure yourself. You lose one point.

SPECIAL MOVE DETERMINED BY SKILL: In a fight, you may re-roll a check that would bring your death.

WINCONDITION: Survive two weeks (14 updates) in a group
COLOR: Gold
SKILL: Leadership (being very stubborn, essentially)
SPECIAL MOVE DETERMINED BY SKILL: Once a week (every seven updates), if a roll causes the failure of an ally, with their consent, you may re-roll and use the new roll.

WINCONDITION: Make sure Kim, your little sister, dies after you do
COLOR: Red
SKILL: Melee weapon combat
SPECIAL MOVE DETERMINED BY SKILL: If you're fighting with something I'd consider "melee", you get a +1 to all rolls.

SKILL: Being horrible at everything
SPECIAL MOVE DETERMINED BY SKILL: You have a -1 to all rolls. A roll of zero fails so horribly it works like a five.
