"Uh... I meant, like, mages or smiths. I guess. Do you all have purple eyes, though? Unusual."

"What's odd about purple eyes? I have 'em too."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Guess I'm just not used to 'em. Family looks mostly like me."

[Sirus]

: "Hmm...no, no, and yes except for the ones on my mother's side. I got my hair color from her though. So Sharpshooter, does your whole family do the hunting thing?"

[Swordstar]

Alima yawned slightly.

"As interesting as all of this is, shouldn't we continue on? We are chasing after a very dangerous and valuable gem after all. Wouldn't do well to lose track of it."

[Powder Miner]

Torben observed Alima and Shaundra.
:"You sure we shouldn't set up camp? We can't very well chase after that gem if we're all passing out, can we?"

[Sirus]

: "You serious, Benny? Those brachiating apes demolished my forge and I want to catch them as soon as possible."

[Swordstar]

"Naw, I'm fine. Just bored mostly. Need to keep pressing on I think. Dunno about Shaundra, she just seems tired all the time. Suppose Jyg could carry her if she passes out."

[Powder Miner]

:"You were the one calling me brave or foolish earlier- now you want to get in a battle immediately after finishing one? That's a very basic strategical error. We may have important reasons to be doing this, but we need to be careful."

[Swordstar]

"Hmm... Torben has a point. I dunno, you two can argue it out, lemme know when you've figured it out."

Yawning again slightly, Alima wandered over to a tree and sat down at the base of it. Pulling out her flute, she considered it for a moment, before putting it to her mouth and slowly playing a quiet but slightly haunting melody.

[Sirus]

:"You were the one calling me brave or foolish earlier- now you want to get in a battle immediately after finishing one? That's a very basic strategical error. We may have important reasons to be doing this, but we need to be careful."

: "This is different. You were on your own and sneaking around, hoping to not get caught. Now we are many and I have no intention of sneaking around."

: "They have committed the gravest of sins and I will see them burn for it."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"I believe murder is generally considered the big one, actually. That said, what terrible offense have these people committed?" Shotrin leaned on his staff- He wasn't too invested in whatever outcome was chosen. Watching Jasmine become irate was rather amusing however.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Blew up a forge she was gonna work at. Each their own, I guess. Just in it for cash."

She didn't dispute the idea that she was sleepy all the time. She was... unless she had a few mugs of coffee in her, which she didn't right now. She'd barely gotten to drink one before the forge blew up.

[Swordstar]

Lowering her flute for a second, Alima called out:
"Oh, you know. They stole a priceless dangerous gem, attacked a village, set these enemies on us, and oh! The thing she's talking about, which is blowing up a forge."
Grinning slightly, she went back to playing her flute.

[Sirus]

: "They destroyed a FORGE! The closest thing humanity has to wielding the power of the gods! The power of creation, of taking inert lumps of metal, coal, and stone and turning them into magnificent things! I have worked my entire life in forges like those to lift humankind to the next technological level, laboring for hours to craft my greatest masterpieces, accepting the jeering laughter of my peers who cannot see the grand vision I behold, and some brain-dead caveman just comes along and destroys it?!"
: "Plus, you know, that other stuff they mentioned. Terrible things. But for me, this is much more personal."
