"Hey, Skeletor - How about a little friendly dark magic fight to the death? Mano-e-mano!"

[Sirus]

: "Hold the messenger pigeon...you know how to use that thing, Chester?"

[Gamerboy4life]

"Erm, yeees? It's a book - all you do is read it. Then - magic!"

Lucas wiggles the tome for emphasis, as if to prove that yes, it is a book, and not a fighter jet.

[Sirus]

: "There's more to it than that. I've read a couple of dark tomes and couldn't get a single shadow ball to form. What's your secret?"

[Gamerboy4life]

"There's supposed to be a secret? Jeez, I had no idea I could even do magic 'till I had picked up a tome. All I do is think, and then it kinda happens. " As if to prove this, Lucas raises the tome, causing a rather misshapen sphere of unholy matter to form for a few seconds, before crumbling away. "Honestly, it's not perfect. I've nailed myself once or twice with dark magic."

"Hey, let me see yours really quick - maybe I'd be able to use it as well?"

[Sirus]

After a moment's thought, Jasmine hands the Thunder tome over.

: "I'm gonna need that back, but give it a shot."
