Jasmine briefly considered dismantling the bow to figure out what made it so "killer"...but decided that Shaundra could probably get more use out of it.

: "Well, what now? Looks like you got another of those cruddy keys Sharpshooter, you wanna head up here?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I dunno. Hey, I'll trade you the key for that bow. I want to look at it."

(I can't move anymore this turn, but I think you still can?)

[Sirus]

: "Yeah, sure. Don't have the slightest idea how to use this thing properly anyway."
Move 2 down and trade Killer Bow for Shaundra's Door Key.

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Thanks, Jazz!"

Shaundra pulled the string back to test the draw of the Killer Bow.

"Wow... practically takes all my strength to pull it back. With this much draw, anything I shoot with it is probably going to be hurting real bad."

[Sirus]

: "You're the expert on bows. Or at least, the closest thing to one around here."

This area seemed pretty safe for the moment. Jasmine removed her goggles.
: "So you never answered my question before. That's okay, we were pretty busy. But I was wondering if your whole family did the hunting thing or if you were the only one."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Oh! Sorry, must have been tired. Hardly uncommon."

Shaundra laughed at herself.

"Most of us do. Some prefer to just gather plants, herbs, wild berries and fruits, that sort of thing. And of course the little ones are too young to do either. I like hunting though. Most of the time, you can just climb a tree and wait for prey to come to you."

[Sirus]

: "Sounds like a real outdoors-y bunch. What's the longest time you ever spent up in a tree?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Hmm. Probably about nine or ten hours. Get the right arrangement of branches and you can catch a nice nap."

Shaundra smiled teasingly.

"'Course, if you mean awake, that's a different story. If it takes longer than five hours to see prey I move to a different spot."

[Sirus]

: "Nine or ten...? Did your family notice you were gone for so long?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

Shaundra shrugged.

"We usually split up to hunt anyway, so they only get worried when someone doesn't come back at night."

[Sirus]

: "Heh. Sounds a bit like my family. Usually we'd only see each other at mealtimes - and sometimes not even then! I know I missed a few dinners every once in a while."
: "'Course, we weren't running around the middle of the woods. At least, I wasn't. Usually no-one worried unless it had been a few days since anyone had seen whoever was missing."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"My family is nomadic. We'd usually pick a spot for a few weeks to hunt around, then pack up and spend a few days finding a new spot and hunt there for a month or so, and so on."

"So, what about you? Have a big family?"

[Sirus]

: "Huh. Never would have guessed you were a nomad. You look like you'd be happier just finding a nice place to sleep and staying there."
"Family's a decent size, I suppose. Me, my brothers, mother and father, Uncle and Auntie, a couple of cousins, and Grandma all live in a few neighboring houses. Other family elsewhere, but we don't see them much. They think we're all a bunch of nutcases."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Yeah, that's pretty true."

"Why would they think you're crazy?"
