Another point: every day, there has to be some game-changing desperately made attention-grabbing gimmick.

Politibastard was far and away the best game I played here that incorporated gameplay shifts.  It's a great read (and an awesome concept that kept everyone guessing.)

For posterity, I was really basing my knowledge of politics there off LCS ._. despite knowing better.
But yeah, that game was awesome. But I played poorly.

We've had a lot of BYOR's recently, and for your first run it would be better to run something less complicated.

Also, I'm in the process if setting up a game.

I would wait a bit, there's two games in signups currently. Be prepared to be patient, Mafia tends to take a while, and there's a ton of games that people are planning to put out, but haven't yet. I've been wanting to do another GBU game for a few months now.

I would also start smaller than a BYOR. A lot of players are unlikely to join a game like that if they don't know if the mod is reliable yet.

Considering how many players we have, you should probably wait until there is only one game running. Maybe try running a BM while you wait to get some experience?

I would play that BYOR, by the way, but right now I think more than two games would probably stretch the playerbase.

So...instead of voting others because of suspicion, or the FOS, one can just easily put [citation needed], even without the blue context?

I was wondering, has there ever been a mafie RTD? Roll to kill scum? If not, then I might want to start that at some point. It would start like mafia, with a scum team and a town, but there would be rolls to determine how successful your night actions are, and how successful you are at making it to the vote meeting etc.

Sounds like it might be very frustrating- or at least, I'd find it so. Depends on who you were trying to get to play.

It could work if there were exceptional successes when you roll a 6: your kill is a doublekill or your inspect reveals two players etc. Hard to balance though.
