Alyssa pulled the last chord of her song and sighed.
: "Hoo boy, don't envy Sheldon right now..." She shook her head, smiling, and turned back down the corrider towards Efa, "Hey, new lady! What'd the grey guy say it was- Efa, right? F'ya don't mind me asking, where do you two hail from?"

The pirate sputtered a little in the face of the feather duster, then ran a hand over his face. "I'll tell you, but you can't breathe a word of it to anyone."

Sheldon lowered his voice so that only Miguella would be able to hear him. "I was flirting with Leona. Again. Still testing those waters. But I guess she finally realized how I felt about her. And she told me... She just got so serious, and she told me we couldn't be... She just doesn't feel the same way." Sheldon's voice cracked on the word 'doesn't'. "And I... I can't handle it. I just thought... I thought maybe when this battle was won, I could really show her I was serious about her. But now I can't."

Miguella stretched down, placing her hand lightly upon his shoulder.

"My lips are sealed." Her eyes seemed to drift a little bit off into the distance and go misty."Once we clear this room, we'll have a little chat...Yes? I have a little story to tell you."
