Hello all and welcome to my second, _{^{and totally not killed later}}, forum game. So without further ado:

Interstellar Void: A space journey

The Galactic Federation has seen a prosperous peace for over a century. People have flourished and most of the navy war-birds have been converted into colony ships, sent out to find new homes. Many people participated in the great migration, but peace is not without it's problems however and pirates have been on the move, intercepting and destroying many of the colony ships. Survivors of one such ship, you have set out to make your names in the universe, or be lost to it's endless skies.

Captain - Master of the Ship
Executive Officer - Responsible for safety and security of the entire ship and crew, leads the first watchshift.
Operations Officer - Responsible for general day-to-day operations of the ship as well as managing cargo.
Flight Officer - Responsible for navigation, guidance, FTL jumps, piloting & course corrections, atmospheric entries and flight planning.
First Helmsman -  Lead Pilot
Second Helmsman -  Assistant Pilot
Navigator - Responsible for plotting jumps, astrography, spatial positioning.
First Engineer - Responsible for overseeing Engineering.
Chief Medical Officer - Responsible for overseeing Medical bay and treating the sick and injured.
Loadmaster - In charge of the cargo loading/unloading operations
Security Officer - Oversees security unit training and preparations.
Assualt Unit Leader - Leads the shock troopers used in ship boarding and ground battles (whoops. wrong word).

Basic rules
Dependent on the action, it will require a different Stat+1d100
for example: Fixing the engine uses MIND+1d100 while improving it uses INT+1d100
Each person has his own money total. The ship also has a money total that the heads of each part of the ship can access. People can donate money to this total, which goes to help repairs, outfitting the ship, and other things necessary for the ship.


DC Rules
Aim= Mind+1d100
Melee= STR+1d100
Dodge= DEX+1d100
Climb= ((STR+DEX)/2)+1d100
Grapple= STR+1d20 vs DEX+1d20
Resist= END+1d100
Targets are:
Easy: 25-49
Medium: 50-74
Hard: 75-99
Impossible: 100+

Luck= LUCK+1d50
Luck Target Rolls are:
Easy: 15-24
Medium: 25-34
Hard: 35-44
Impossible: 45+


Range Damage= (MIND/2)d10 vs (END/2)d10

• Plasma: +1d10
• Laser: +1d8
• Kinetic: +1d6

Melee Damage= (STR/2)d10 vs (END/2)d10

• Plasma: +1d10
• Laser: +1d8
• Kinetic: +1d6

Explosive Damage= (INT/2)d10 vs (END/2)d10

• Plasma: +1d10
• Laser: +1d8
• Kinetic: +1d6

Note: Plasma is not always the best. It all depends on the weapon.

Appearance: A young, fit man with blonde hair and blue eyes. Looks more like he should be in a movie, than leading a Security Team. Cheerful, but can switch to anger in a flash.
History: Andros has always dreamed of being a pilot. At least, up until his parents were killed while transporting goods, by a pirate ship. From then on, Andros has worked towards the position he's in now, vowing to never let someone experience what he had to go through, and to protect those not able to defend themselves.

Appearance: A fleshy pink amorphous mass with three eyes, one mouth, three arms, and two specially engineered limbs, one ending in a hypodermic stinger and the other in a scalpel. It also carries a pair of high-velocity spine firing mechanisms.
History: Growing up on the Umgah homeworld in the Orionis Cluster, Joe-57 studied in the subterranean bio-laboratories of its homeworld and, displaying the natural aptitude of its species, became a highly accomplished bioengineer and doctor. While the Umgah are not currently part of the Federation, they have been at least as peaceful as their kind could be, and agreements of loose confederacy were signed. Hence, Umgah technicians were often recruited for various Federation jobs, often catering to those distinguished clients who felt that their gold could buy them a "more perfect" form. Hence, when a certain colony ship set out with various entrepreneurs and pioneers seeking to found their own sphere of influence, Joe was arranged to be taken on as Medical Officer. When the ship was attacked, it became clear there would be more need of his skills than previously expected...
