It is the dawn of a new day. The great skyship Traveller floats calmly in the waters just beyond the Pineapple Islands (obviously named so for the fruit native to the area), while its inhabitants are either still getting out of bed, or on land, trading for food.

It is also the day when the Skyrunner Academy does the tests for its students.
Although, calling it an acedemy is perhaps an overstatement. It's more of an evening school, where the novices do their studies after having worked for hours to pay for their stay on the ship.
Every few months, while the ship does a pit stop, they then would have to prove themselves worthy of the famed skyboots. If they succeed, they would obtain their Skyrunning License and their own pair of boots.

With the sun in your back, your class is standing at the main island's port. It's far from busy, but there's ocacasionally people passing by you, usually hauling around a barrel or a filled bag.
There's about a dozen of you in the class (most people are too nervous to count. Others just don't care.), and you're waiting for your tutor and examinator, Skyrunner Swiftfoot.
You assume that's not his actual name, but everybody calls him that anyway.

You're all wearing a set of Novice Skyrunning Gear (an aerodynamic and mostly watertight leather ensemble which includes a cap and a pair of goggles).

What do you do while waiting?
