Were open from 8 till 4 p.m. We sell the small ones for 8 the medium for 15 and the big ones for 28. Clean up the place a little bit before opening
No no no. We sell the small ones for 4 the medium ones for 13 and the big ones for 18 then we can raise the prices once our lower prices establish a customer base.

Prices should be set exactly at the average. Once we get a customer base going, then we can alter them. In the meanwhile, we are making small profit or loss, and our savings should cover that for a while.

Sell them at 5,9,18 respectively, be open from 7:30am to 8pm?
+1
Edit: they are stated to be on sale.
+1 this, but we should hire employees, noone wants to work those hours, maybe a smaller shift until we get employees
I don't think we should hire employees until we have more money.

Monday

8:00 AM

You set things up on the shelves, at least where the shelves aren't broken in half, and try to clean things up. In the hour or so you spend cleaning up, you manage to clean up enough that instead of looking like a dingy store that was just the scene of a bar fight, it just looks like a dingy store. It would probably take at least a day to scrub all the grime off the walls, and fix up the broken stuff, but right now it looks sort of ok. You put the hours outside, remembering to decide whether or not you are open on weekends. Finally, you get to rest for... five seconds before someone walks in.

"New store, eh? Not the prettiest place I've ever been, but sadly, not the worst."

He looks around in the shelves a while, before eventually coming to the counter with two small fireworks.

"How's it going? I'd assume you're Jacob."

You can talk to people like this guy about pretty much anything. News, sports, whatever. If you want, you could try to convince him to buy something else, although there's not much point to it, at least not yet.

Ask him if he wants some of the behind the counter fireworks with a bigger boom. Get a painted large firework and charge 23 for the sale

Make small-time chitchat, and insert "wouldn't it be awesome if the city sponsored a fireworks display every year?" Just get the buzz going. Don't hard sell. Make this a place he wants to come back to.

Monday

9:00 AM

"Well, it's my first day in business, so I'm a little nervous, but everyone likes fireworks, right? What's with you?"

"Yeah, you'll do fine. Don't worry too much about it. Anyway, I'm just buying these for a party."

You chat for a while longer, and eventually he pays with a 10 dollar bill. The only real thing of note he said is that the city has a big parade in a month. At the very least, there'd probably be a spike in sales around then. *DING* Two college kids walk in.

"Hey, man, got any suggestions?"

"Two mediums make a bigger boom than one large" we have more mediums, so let's get them out first.
