Curse it and then hit it with an Eldritch Blast.

You blast the bear with a mass of eldritch energy!

It screams in pain!

Keyleth's turn.

EDIT: It appears I miscalculated where Ghararn was-- let's just assume he attacked the bear and immediately jumped back. This friggin' encounter has been so horribly long I'm just going to do what I can to speed it up.

((Don't forget I have combat advantage from sliding the bear last turn.))

Move up next to the bear
Hit it with Five Storms!
Free action: Flurry of blows and slide the bear towards the toughest nearby ally.

Sorry for the lack of updates, but this has gone on far too long. This ends
HERE
and this ends
NOW.

Ghararn suddenly evokes a prayer to Enkol, a wish that the bears would stop hindering their quest. Suddenly, a roar that sounds oddly like "DEUS EX MACHINA" --whatever that means-- envelopes the forest. The remaining bear is abruptly struck by lightning.

Spoiler: For Everyone (click to show/hide)

((I know that. Never again will you see bears, if I have any hand in it/am not obligated to making a reference to something with bears.))

Keyleth looked around, startled. Since she was awake now anyway, she decided to just wait until after her watch shift was over to go back to sleep.

((Yay! More update!))

Rhogar is saddened by the lose of his alcohol.
Next time, can we have a campfire made out of dead trees instead of my wine? ((but seriously, we probably shouldn't have started a campfire, rather than assuming it was covered by unstated actions.))
He skins and guts the dead bear, and takes a few of its bones.
If the spiteful stabbing ruins the pelt, yell at... whatever The Ensorceler's character's name is. HEY!!! I was going to use that! Now you've gone and ruined a perfectly good would-be cloak.
Regardless of stabbing, We can't just let all this delicious bear meat go to waste! Anyone else want to cook breakfast, or should I? If nobody else volunteers, I'll cook breakfast. Assuming that it's morning, of course. If I'm still tired, go back to sleep.

((Also, I wouldn't call two or three combat rounds 'going on far too long'. Unless you mean in real time, in which case I definitely agree.))

((Far too long meant the insanely boring just-getting-a-grip combat encounter over a month, yes.))

Shadowhammer: Perrin is too busy stabbing the burned one off in the distance, so you de-pelt the Southern Lightning Fried one. The meat is pre-cooked from the electrical death it suffered.

Basically everyone else: You go back to sleep/trance/what have you, as it is still night. Fortunately, no monsters attack you for the night.

When you awaken, you find a note from Ghararn, who left in the night. He has gone off to his homeland to work for Enkol at the Grand Cathedral.

Everyone who is OK with it (no one here is vegetarian, right?) enjoys some hearty reheated bear. If you're doing anything before leaving, do it now.
