"I will find some way to repay this kindness, but for now, farewell."
Do the obvious and loot all the things from the bandit dwelling. If there is furniture, also consider selling the base to a real-estate agent.
You attempt to dig to the bandits' room from through the rubble in the door, but are unable to reach the central dwelling. The hall is devoid of anything but bricks and dirt.
Out in the fresh air, Keyleth took a deep breath and smiled a little.
That was certainly interesting. Shame I never found out anything about those hat-jewels, but I'm sure one of the rest knows more about it than I do.
She watched one of the dragonborn from the fight march off boasting of his deeds, and shook her head ruefully at his attitude. She decided to find a nearby tavern and get some water after all the exercise she got.
Keyleth walks out of the alleyway. She takes an immediate step left and finds a bar with a sign proclaiming it as "The Wagon of Mighty Parties"; the sign has a picture of a canvas-topped wagon with several jolly fellows surrounding it. Keyleth steps inside, only to find a few bored-looking halflings at tables, a bartender whose looks tell that he doesn't want to be there, and a barrel with some stacked wooden cups next to the door with the message engraved into it "FREE WATER HELP YOURSELF".
When Rhogar reaches the gates of the castle, look confused about why there is a random BWAAing guard. Ask Vulpec what's going on.
Hello, Shardmind. Erm... What is that guy doing?

Vulpec shrugs, and gesture that would be more reassuring if its entire shoulders did not rearrange themselves to do so. "I am not knowing."
Find a safe place to get down, and then continue to the castle gates by street.
When David approaches the castle gate, he approaches a guard. "I am here to speak to the [appropriate religious leader]."
As the dragonborn and shardmind speak, David hops down and comes across the guard, who is now nearly screaming, and the dragonborn and shardmind discussing what the guard may be up to. Suddenly, the doors burst open and nearly knock the guard on his face.
An eladrin emerges from the castle. He has long, dark brown hair, keeping it back from his face with a leather band. His eyes are pure orbs of a sort of mesmerizing blue. He wears simple robes of blue. Unusually for an eladrin, he has a small moustache. Hm. Anyway, the eladrin speaks:
"What is that infernal noi-- oh, it's you, Johnson." The eladrin looks at the three of you. "I am sorry. We installed this button--" the eladrin indicates a large, round stone button. "--which operates the alarm. Johnson never discovered it was there. Anyway, allow me to introduce myself. I am Jakme Fallensky, a wandering eladrin enchanter. I came here after discovering the halflings of Cri and their rich cultural history. The royalty here just love scholars and offered me lodging here. I have grown to be almost part of the family since coming here nearly a month ago. Anyway, I digress. Why are you here?"
