Believe me, Playin' (you don't mind this abbreviation i hope? If you wish you can call me Exo....), there was plenty of !!FUN!! here already^^ Although a little bit more never hurt anyone, did it^^ Btw, if you have any questions about anything from the fort prior to Flame, my steam name is same as username here^^

Whoa! Your right about that! This place is gloriously bloody, awesome.

That is mostly my fault.... you will find that a vast portion of that list are elven merchants and their animals^^ Well, them and our own citizens, but hey, at least the booze is good!^^

The time has come to be overseer, yes i, khahm, once a humble fisherdwarf.
When i arrived at the republic many years ago i was told to pick up a mining axe and get to work, cause there aint no rivers around here.

I would like a doctor named Apollo. He wears all black clothing including hood and lab coat. He shows no emotions and is not at all social. He wants to learn how to use a axe as well. He also has no sense of empathy.

Yeah...KB's greatest feat of strength was not killing countless elves, becoming a legendary soldier, nor being a part of the prestigious RIN, but rather making it through Murderwheel's "Health Care" system.

Oh! Murderwheel has thrown away KB, that's great!
I'd like to join too.

How is this a Republic?

There should be a vote for all the named dwarves to become the new overseer every spring, based on the extravagance of campaign promises when they aren't overseer and how much can be blamed on them for failing to deliver as well as random catastrophes when they are.

Not enough claimed dwarves (there is plenty of named ones but they are associated with no players whatsoever, best examples are Agent Blade Weed Pudding{if Flame actually called her that by now, if not... oh well} and late Agent Rabbit Patte).

And we have decided to chose the "distance one-selves from the mountainhomes" option when it comes up....

Although it sounds fine to vote I think it would be impractical right now, maybe when we have huge amount of players as if we do not have that there is a possibility that the person chosen will not be able to play etc. etc.

2nd of hematite

Summer has come upon us fellow dwarves, the fort is safe and secure, to be honest it pretty much runs itself.
Our vast amounts of resources have not come under much attack yet, but things may change soon.

To smelt some strands of adamantine candy into useful wafers, this is my goal for now. using the Magma smelters our other overseers have setup.

A bittersweet snowstorm passed just weeks ago, it came and went like a mighty torrent of unholy madness, dwarfmothers carried their childs away to safe parts of the keep while the piling of snow pounded at our walls, being this high upon a mountain the cold bites at your very soul.

OOC:
Think i did enough pictures atleast for awhile :)), so abit of roleplaying seemed needed.

17th of hematite

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A forgotten beast has tried to claim our lives today.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It immediately entered into our stairway killing a planter and ravaging its way upwards towards our fort.

My yelling and orders sent men from all over our fort towards this beast, they rushed towards it without fear and fought bravely!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Two of our hammerlords fought this foul web spitting flea beast into submission, they smashed, kicked, and bit! What fine dwarves we have here.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

In the end one of our newer hammerlords struck the final blow, kicking the abomination in the head and smashing its brains against the wall, we shall throw a glorious party on account of our fine warriors!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I told zaneg to organize the party, and when we all raised our mugs of ale to salute the fallen and give praise to those we fought bravely i made a speech.

"I know i'm just learning how to oversee this fortress my friends, but bare with my faults and you shall see my merits!
Today we have slain a forgotten beast, tomorrow the elven empire shall fall!!
"

Everyone clapped and roar in dwarven tongue, i think i'm getting the hang of the political side this overseer business. Never miss an opportunity to gain fame.
