Roll to Canadia: -30° kelvin
« on: March 02, 2014, 12:23:45 pm »

Spoiler: What's this eh? (click to show/hide)

You are Canadian. It means a lot to be Canadian. It means you wear knit tuques to formal occasions. It means you learned to skate before you could walk. It means your house was built by beavers. It means you can survive a year in the wilderness, and in fact you probably have before. It means you always wear a red maple leaf in case you are mistaken for a dirty american.

It is -30 degrees outside on a Friday afternoon. You are stuck inside a Tim Hortons restaurant. What do you do?

Chop a table up with my axe as a statement of my rugged canadianness in case we need firewood - it's cold outside.

There is coffee, hot chocolate, donuts, timbits, muffins, bagels, sandwiches, chilli, and soup on the menu. The server is also offering poutine under the counter, for a price. Or so you've heard.
Tim Hortons is is having its annual "roll up the rim to win" contest.

You underwhelmingly strike the table with your axe, creating a noticeable split. It will take a few more hits like that to be usable as firewood though.

Check supply of maple vodka.

You have an entire keg of maple vodka...in your car outside.

You call the Canadian Mafia on your state of the art Nokia 3310.
"Are there any moose that need killing?"
[3]
"Sorry, there are no moose that need killing. There is one deer who knows too much though."
You order a maple syrup soup. It costs 1 toonie, leaving you with 3 loonies.

This isn't a map of North america at all. This is a map of Australia!
You do a handstand.

"Well, I suppose I'll have tah order something while I wait for my contact, eh?"

Order donuts and a bag of Moose Milk, then sit to wait for the Moosefather to arrive.

Look out the window. Are there any distressing things outside, aside from the deathly chill of Canadian weather?
