Yeah, had long hair for most of 12, 13 years up until about 21 or 22 or something... it made me different, and it feels a little bit more like me, but at some point I just don't want to worry about things which are basically of an aesthetic nature. There are definitely more important things in the world to do instead of spending hours taking care of hair.

I mean, I imagine hygiene it took about 30m extra every day because of hair. After a week, that's 3h30m you could've spent doing something else!

In a more serious light, if you plan to work with long hair, keep in mind that some companies prefer to hire people with shorter hair, thinking them saner than most.

Thankfully, that's certainly not one of my concerns here.
The only career I would ever consider important enough to warrant cutting my hair short would be the military, and I'm a scrawny little klutz so that's not likely to happen anytime soon anyway.

Since you've all necroed this, I'll let you know that, uh, I still haven't done anything with my hair. An exciting update, no?
