Op has been completely overhauled with the story and the official setup for it. I'll have the spring update up within the next day or two.

Wow, the game is running so quickly on my computer that it was summer before I even realized it. It's currently mid-fall and already three are dead from brook trolls. Including me. Nobody else named died though. For canon purposes I think the next person on the list should take over. I don't have much of a journal written up yet because again, time flew by without me realizing it. Good luck danmanthedog and make sure to download Masterwork Dwarf Fortress and use the savefile with that. No offence by the way, but for your journals you'll use spell-check right?

Edit- Yeah Its not that i'm a bad speller its just i type fast and keyboard is old. Grammar on the other hand is a whole different story

I claim the 1st female baby to be born to the fortress - name her "Mississippi Jones" ("Lil Miss" for short.)  Missy will want to be an archeologist when she grows up, and put relics in museums!

No one has been dorfed yet, Im trying to keep it from havng a tantrum spiral. I got through the aquafier with out doing that cavern collapsing way. We also have no drinks, seeds, and plants! Damm Master you eat them all before you die.

Shouldn't there still be seeds even if all the plants were eaten? We may need to consider robbing a few caravans in order to get food. And to annoy the elves.
