Obviously this isn't normal. It only seems to have occurred during a short timeframe and they have since returned to normal.
I had slipped on some ice and hit my head a bit earlier that morning. Do I have a concussion? I had kinda feared that might happen, so mom was checking me while I was sleeping, and she is the one who noticed my eyes all demon-ed up.

So, anyone have an idea what this is? And how worried/hospitalized should I be right now?

Note: I hadn't displayed any other conditions that would point to a concussion or something similar until that point. No disorientation or anything, so we assumed I was fine.
Then I got Omen Eyes and now I'm kinda worried.

Also, if I had known that my eyes did that at the time, I totally would have attempted Latin chanting, just to flip mom out.
I'm kinda a terrible person.

Black? Sounds like you might have some sort of hemorrhaging, like the blood pouring out of some internal cut/tear in to your eyes.

I doubt they were actually black, probably just blood-filled in the dark. Actually black? Well you need a priest probably.

If it's just the pupils that are really dialated, it's probably just a concussion.

If it's the whites of the eyes that have turned dark, it's hyphema (blood pooling at the front of the eye), which can be a serious condition. Though when I had it the optometrist looked into my eyes for 15 minutes, took some pictures, came back some time later and told me it looked fine and I was good to go home. So it might not be a big deal? I think it basically depends on if you're going to keep bleeding into the eye, in which case you've got a problem. Otherwise it will clear up on it's own (it took my eyes nearly a month to finally clear up).

I'd probably say get an appointment with an optometrist if you can.

Answer: Nothing is wrong.

So yeah, apparently the eye thing was just my pupils getting really dilated for no apparent reason. (mom thinks it was just because I was avoiding sleep, due to my concussion paranoia)
As for the bump on the head, it barely even qualified as that.

So, no concussion, no hyphema, no nothing, waste of a hospital visit.

Damn I'm glad I get free health insurance
