It's event grinding, the two "victims" are bosses in Kancolle. If you play Kancolle, you'll have as much sympathy for them as I do.
Event maps have a significantly lower chance of giving common drops, so grinding the heck out of them is standard operating procedure.

Maybe you can take it that you are just very good at writing sympathy for the devil.

Alright, I give. I've gone through that post twice now, and other than a handful of very vague lines that could be taken from many sources, and a couple that weren't especially vague but weren't related to RTSs either, I simply cannot find this line.

Shame you spoiled the Uplink one, as I recognized it as soon as I read it.
