So that's only two entries, we'll leave applications open and move to the voting period.

Now, Steam's starting their Winter sale, and it looks like it's the standard "Loads of games on sale" I'm not exactly sure of the specifics or whether GOG and other sites are hosting.

Does anyone have any ideas for how they'd like the giveaway to be altered during these next few weeks?

I don't think this is Steam's Winter Sale. Not yet, anyway. Seems more like a sort of Black Friday event, with sales only lasting a day.

It says "Steam Exploration Sale" November 26 - December 2. So it seems to be a Thanksgiving sale? Still, 5625 games on sale, so be sure to dig deep.

Yeah, this is essentially the Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale. Judging from the lack of flash sales, I'm assuming that sales will only be changing daily.
That makes it kind of hard to actually get a game on sale with this giveaway, so as far as deciding which game to enter for, I'd suggest largely ignoring it.

EDIT - Wait a second. It appears most sales go UNTIL Dec. 2. So, uh, disregard what I said. Only the "featured sales" on the front page change.
