Well, as per the current ruleset, no.
They can make individual nominations, directing the prize to be awarded to someone else.
Means that they can't further bolster BFEL's chances of his own accord, but have effectively given him a new chance altogether.
I suspect that if this is allowed, an exception for multiple entries of the same result might be restricted.
If rules do get revised, I would suggest that there also be something to limit the repetitive self-nominations that have been going on.
If not making people abstain from nominations for a time after an unsuccessful earlier bid, then perhaps requiring that no one can repeat an earlier nomination. (And not in a strict literal sense.)

Application Period Rules: (Monday/Tuesday)
* Applications can be made only after I say "Applications are open" or something to that effect. Applications made before then will be ignored.
* To apply, simply name the game, the price, and the venue it is sold from.
* Each person is limited to a single entry per cycle.
* Those who win will be on a three cycle cooldown. Those who were chosen but didn't win have a 1-cycle cooldown.
* Applications are limited to a maximum of 8. If we do not have enough newcomers; applications from those who have 1-cycle cooldowns will be added; winners who are still on their cooldown will be added if there are any remaining slots.
* The limit of any application's price is equal to the amount of money in the budget. For things that support open amounts, there will be a $10 limit.
* Escaped Lunatics cannot apply.

Voting period rules: (Wednesday/Thursday)
* Nominees chosen in the current cycle cannot vote.
* Voting can be done for a player or for a game. If you vote for a game, it is considered a vote for each player who applied for that game.
* Similar to applications, Votes will not be counted until I say votes are open.
* Escaped Lunatics cannot vote.

Omnomicide Rules: (Friday)
* Each application rolls against another; the winner advances in a random elimination until only one remains.
* For each $1 that one application costs more than its opponent, it receives a d1 malus.
* For each vote an application has it receives a d1 bonus.
* New rule: The malus received from cost is limited to $10. Votes are added after this. A $20 game with 3 votes Vs a $5 game, will roll a 1d13 instead of a 1d8.

So I seem to be coming down with something, and as I was pondering the post I wanted to make here earlier I dozed off and had some sort of fever-dream about this thread. Don't remember it very well, but along the way it sorta merged with IronyOwl's Princess Maker LP and a healthy dash of Pokémon, and for all I know the Twitch community was at the helm. May have even been a bit of X-Com inspiration.
By the end of it Blaze had become some sort of bloodthirsty, genderbending, queenly multi-limbed octopus/arachnid-monster who we were helping through a series of vicious battles towards utter domination of the galaxy. Apparently we had some sort of terrible class/build and there were trolls and naysayers telling everyone to give up, but the core force of loyalists stayed firm, and some respected member of the group said, "Spiderbro isn't so different from Bugbro! We can't just give up on him!" (A reference to a previous playthrough, perhaps?), and that we should stay strong and stick with her/him/it until we had the galaxy under our control, even if we had to do a bit of grinding to get his/her/banana's stats and skills up to a level we could win the game with.

I hope that helps to motivate you, somehow, Blaze; otherwise I have no idea WTF my brain was doing. O_____O

Edit: Just remembered, the dialogue in the dream that I can remember looked a lot like the ones used in this thread, now that I think of it- with the speaker's little image displayed on the screen, next to the text of what they were saying.

Didn't Blaze mention something about odd dreams earlier?

Maybe the format and/or Dangan Ronpa characters have some sort of dream-influencing property.
