I was supposed to update today, but I totally forgot that Kancolle's 2014 Summer Event Started today!

Waaaaaaah, I'm sorry!

Gotta get ships from somewhere.

That particular scene was one of the three bad endings of the original yangire plotline; the worst one in fact.

"Restart" had the protagonist "awaken" to the atrocities she's commited; she had unconsciously disabled that ability to protect herself. The mental, physical, and substance abuse finally causes her to snap. The rest of the story is her explaining how her life is now; in particularly childish text. She has forgotten everything that happened, but her mental state has regressed to that of a child. She spends the rest of her life as a permanent resident of a psychiatric ward; her mind damaged beyond repair.

Sometimes the doctor people have meetings about me. They say I have a baby inside me. I am very happy but no one else looks happy. I wonder why? I asked the them why they are not happy and they smile and laugh and say they are happy but their eyes are very sad. Maybe they are sad because of me. I don't know why I would make them sad.

"Mirage" starts off like the above, but she's "emotionally rescued" at the last minute. She's taken to a psych ward and recovers to live a normal happy life.

And then you get a picture of her hanging off a noose.

"Drugged Childbirth Training" was the worst of the three. It starts off like the first one, but instead of regressing into a childlike mental state she becomes a soulless husk who wanders the world. She's taken in by some "friends" and spends the rest of her life as a "toy".

The last scene shows her "waking up" just to see her newborn baby... have its head stomped in by boots. It's also implied that this happens in a cycle; with her regaining her sense of self just to be immediately driven into insanity moments later.

It's really just a scene to punish those people who would beat a helpless girl for a few cents when all she wanted to do was make you slightly happier.

well that's dark. kinda make me glad we jumped to a different plot.
