Was I the only one who took a theme and a background?

Well, I chose a background, but I don't think anyone raised in a monastery would have a title.

What about Trained from Birth for a Specific Prophecy (Reroll initiative once a day) or Crusading Zealot (+1 to saving throws until you fail a saving throw, at which point you lose it until you rest again)?

David, Keyleth, Ghararn, Rhogar, Cromwell, Vulpec, Erza, and Perrin are all ready, if most are a bit... devoid of personality.

That means it's all hinging on Remuthra and Cmega3 finishing their characters. I have the first quest written up for the most part (encounters planned, dun-- er, area drawn up, etc. etc.)

David is working on his personality. He's a pretty standard Goliath, filled with wanderlust, curiosity, daring and competitiveness, with a good measure of righteousness and honor, and is respectful when the occasion demands it. He's somewhat pious, following the Path to Enlightenment more than any other scripture. Unlike the rest of his race, he will care for those old, sick or infirm.

I don't really like writing my character's backstory up beforehand, I like to have them just start rambling on about their past at suitable intervals, so I don't have to change his story later if something important in the world's past comes up.

I'm pretty much the same way. I'll include some general info but the specifics are left intentionally vague so I don't accidentally the world lore.

Also, would you prefer official character colors based on personal, class, role, or power source? I want to give everyone an official color in the character list on Page 1.

Everyone else has their character ready enough to play but no soul. If you're cool with playing like that, let me know, but until this list is full and/or I have everyone's consent, the game will not start.

By class sounds reasonable enough. But Personal would be better.
Also, I am ready to start, just remember to avoid clutter, we could keep it in a separate thread.

I think Keyleth will go with a nice teal. Psionic-type energies tend to be a sort of blue color, don't they?

David is a Serene Blade, an fighting style that wears red, so that is his color.

Orange is a suitable color for Gharahrn, since it's the closest I can find to bronze.

With 'lack of soul', I think he meant lack of personality.
Most of you simply let the background, personality and mannerisms blank.
