In the swamp north of Paludan...

Picking himself up onto his knees using his good arm Kyle scrambled in the direction Alice had gone. Cromwell took a wild swing at the bear as it followed Kyle, but his sword failed to make contact with the beast. Luckily, Kyle’s three limbed crawl worked surprisingly well, and he managed to get past Clair and Alice. Unbalanced by the surprise of the approaching bear, Clair got in its way and the bear tried to bring its paw across Clair’s face. Even off balance she managed to duck easily under the blow. Alice, who had stood still in shock until now, suddenly realized what was happening. She let out a brief shriek before hiding behind a large tree, safely out of the way of the combat.

Leaving the snake infested grasses behind him,Joe quickly found Will sitting on the ground near a bunch of red vines, some of which had clearly been torn away by him. Will was holding his head in his hands, trying to recover his sense of direction and balance. As Joe approached, Will managed to stand up and take a step towards Joe which was only a little off balance.

Try to shake off dizziness, I can't get lost again. Follow Joe if he goes anywhere.

In the swamp north of Paludan...

Still keeping off of his broken arm Kyle crawled quickly behind the tree with Alice. If it weren’t for the gravity of the situation the scene could almost have been comical. Alice kept just her head poking around the tree with a shocked look on her face, her hand covering her open mouth. Kyle now peeked around the other side of the tree. Both were simultaneously enthralled and terrified by the scene in front of them, so much so that Kyle’s arrival at her tree didn’t even fully register in Alice’s mind. With the noncombatants safely out of the way, Clair and Cromwell rallied against the bear, finally mounting an effective counterattack. Clair charged the bear’s right side, bringing her axe into its leg. The axe cut a gash along the animal’s leg before catching on her tendon. There was a moment of tension when it seemed the tendon might hold, before it suddenly tore. As the bear fell without the support that leg Cromwell brought his sword along its left side. The sword cut a deep gash that began to bleed, adding to all of the other open wounds. Weak from its wounds and aware of the danger it was in, the spectacled bear tried to run away from the group. However, with a badly damaged leg and a number of bleeding wounds, it did not manage to travel very quickly.

Will managed to recover from his dizziness, but had a slight feeling of oversensitivity to balance and movement. Joe Merely stood there while his companion recovered his balance.

((For the sake of not having 5 people post "get back together," you can post that as an action either prior to or after another action. I would have written it so you all regrouped this turn, but I wanted to give mastah a chance to chase down the bear if he wants. Example: "Smash bear then gather with others near campfire," or "Go to campfire and get Alice to look at my arm." I don't want this to get tedious for you guys.))

Get back to the group.

I don't have anything else to do. (On iPad, so this is short.)

Finish off the bear, even if just to put it out of its misery, because there's no way it can recover from that, then regroup.
