Django: Climb upstairs as well.
Total roll: 17/40
Django climbs up the rope. As he reaches the upper level, a cage made of paper drops from the ceiling, trapping him. At the same time, a paper key floats to the ground on top of the red rug. It is then that Django realizes he has stepped in a small pile of unnoticed honey dripping from the ceiling. Django suffers a temporary -1 penalty to Agility. Also, what is that smell?

Joan: Push the painting off.
Total roll: 29 + 2 = 31/40 (+2 Strength bonus)
Ket: Attempt to move the painting off Joan.
Total roll: 24
Ket and Joan together manage to move the painting off of Joan. They smell something foul coming from the east side of the room... the sprouts?

Manly: Tap into the Unconsciouses of the Tortoises to pacify them.
Total roll: 12 + 2 = 14/40 (+2 Spirit bonus)
Manly is able to tap into the Unconsciouses of the Tortoises, but only for a moment. The Tortoises become confused, but soon resume their zombie-like encroachment. In the meantime, a wight floats through the wall and absent-mindedly speaks to Manly: "How about a riddle? Whoever makes it, tells it not. Whoever takes it, knows it not. And whoever... erm, how did it go again? I just... can't seem to remember. This was not supposed to happen!"

Kyle: Grab a sword and fight. BECAUSE I AM THE HERO!
Total roll: 2 + 2 = 4/40 (+2 Strength & Agility bonus)
Kyle obtains Item: Rusty Shortsword.
Kyle equips Rusty Shortsword; Kyle's Strength is increased by 1.
Kyle swings his Rusty Shortsword at a Tortoise, but the blow is totally ineffective.

Suddenly, the floor in front of Kyle parts, and a platform with an... erotic device... and a manual written in Kyle's spoken language rises from the floor. The tortoises are surprised by all the chaos, and temporarily idle in confusion. More tortoises are emerging from the passage.

She turn to the cage
:"Oh, dear. We best look for a key then. What is that smell?"

[Detoxicated]

Try to break that cage by ripping it.

"I saw a key drop onto the rug."

Ket: Pick up key from rug.
Total roll: 18 + 2 = 20 (+2 Agility bonus)
Item obtained: Paper key
As Ket obtains the key, the red rug opens up from underneath her, and she falls into a strange room. A large creature appears to be sleeping in the middle of the room.

Django: Try to break that cage by ripping it.
Total roll: 30
Django is able to rip through the paper bars, freeing himself.
The mushrooms begin talking again: "Look, your friend just got into the kitchen. Would you like to pick me up and cook some delicious mushroom soup???"

Kyle: Read the manual.
Total roll: 30 + 2 = 32 (+2 Intelligence bonus)
Kyle is able to quickly absorb the information within the manual, and now knows how to operate the device. Apparently it works like an automatic punching machine.

Manly: Attempt to pacify the tortoises again.
Total roll: 10 + 2 = 12 (+2 Spirit bonus)
Manly is again only able to pacify the tortoises for a moment. They are becoming increasingly confused, but more tortoises are constantly emerging from the passage.

"aaaahhhh - OOF!" she said, as she dropped heavily on th efloor.

"Ahhh, ow ow ow ow! I think I bruised my buttbone..."

At the sight of the snorlax monster she went quiet and started lookign for a way out.

With or without success, she crept over the the cupboard and slid them open, looking for anything useful, stopping if it sounded liek ti would make noise.

"Well something that the maker wouldn't talk about and the taker wouldn't know about would probably be fake or stolen."
