Five strangers wake up in a dark basement. None of them remember how they got there. There is a small object in the middle of the room, and a rope in a corner. Light seems to be coming from above.

Kyle inspects the object.

[GiglameshDespair]

"What... what the? Who are you?"

[scapheap]

:"Huh? Oh, Joan William and my bedroom."
She tries to go back to sleep
:"Wait. Who took my pillow...and sheet...and everything else?"

[Detoxicated]

Django Razmatas gets up and yawns loudly.
"What the hell are you doing kneeling over that object? It is obviously mine, since I am the eldest, and most renowned in this room."

Walks to the object and tries to look at it first.

[GiglameshDespair]

"I'm- hmmm. Ket will do for now."
She looked around.
"Is that a noose in the corner? Yikes.
I don't remember how I got here either, or, in fact, much of anything. It's like a soupy mess inside my head."

[Detoxicated]

Django turns to Ket, looks at her thoroughly and says.
"Call me Django. I fear we have been abducted"

[scapheap]

Joan get up and walk to the noose.
:"There seem to be light up there."She give the noose a tug.

[GiglameshDespair]

"Hold on a second, actually. How do I know you aren't all in on it? Is this some kind of game?"

She backed away from the rest of the group as far as she could.

"... Whatever old man."
Kyle continues looking at the object.

Joan look at the panicked girl
:"You don't, beside me being in my pyjamas. I would of chooses something warmer."(That my story and I'm sticking to it.)

"Mayhaps it has a connection to the spiritual."

Kyle inspects the object.

It's a miniature clock that doesn't seem to be ticking. It's stopped at 7:06.

Walks to the object and tries to look at it first.

Too late, the object has already been looked at! However, Django is able to obtain the item.
Item added to Django's inventory: Broken miniature clock.

She give the noose a tug.

Nothing happens. The rope seems firmly attached to the ceiling on the level above.

All of a sudden, the shadows on the walls begin to drift and dance. A dark translucent figure takes shape.



The being speaks in a dreadful and commanding voice, "Your souls are mine. But I won't claim them yet. Stay alive and escape whoever wants to, or remain here. Choose. Your faiths are sealed." As it finishes speaking, a malicious laughter echoes outwards, and the shadowy being dissipates. All is quiet.

From now on, each character may bold an action of theirs each 'turn'. This action will be assigned a random number between 0-40. The number will determine how effective the bolded action is. If the action is related to an attribute (Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Spirit, Charisma), the roll will get a bonus equal to the number of points in that attribute. Note that non-bolded actions will still affect the game, just not on a numerical basis.

((Oh, no, not my faith! That's much worse than my fate being sealed!

Do you mean 0-40? In that case, our stat distribution was almost valueless. ))

"_eep."

"...I guess you guys aren't kidnappers then. Err... sorry about that."
