Quick question about charge mechanics: Currently, we'll be starting with 8 Int, so: 30% - 5%*(10 - 8) = 30% - 5%*2 = 30% - 10% = 20%
But, when our Int goes up, by two, lets say: 30% - 5%*(10 - 10) = 30% - 5%*0 = 30% - 0% = 30%
If we bump it up to 12: 30% - 5%*(10 - 12) = 30% - 5%*-2 = 30% + 10% = 40%

So the chance that we loss a charge goes up as we get better? This doesn't sound right. Also, I don't get how we can effectively stockpile charges if they can decay every turn. Unless, by turn, you mean unit of job length.
You are wholly correct good sir, I wrote the formula backwards. 30% + 5%*(Int - 10). As for stockpiling, if you guys can't do basically anything other than steal right now, and your charges don't have 100% chance to decay, then all you can do is stockpile. To clarify, a single charge decays, not all at once, if that's the problem you saw.

I think I get it. To rephrase the question: do you roll for decay each time you post a turn?

A couple more questions about ghost mechanics: how can we move? Normal walking speed with run mode? Can we 'ride' other creatures? Can we teleport long distances? Also, how could a ghost reveal their presence to mortals? Thought projecting?

For movement I would assume intangible flight without getting tired is very efficient. Also I would think that we would ether have to use a Growth or us or someone else using a crystal for communication. Also to the GM how do people know about ghosts? We're invisible intangible and the only physical effects we have could be calked up to weird magic bullshit. Most likely due to our minimal effect on the world people wouldn't notice it at all and if they did would be unable to explain it.

You guys have fairly fast and efficient movement, only really limited by bismuth bronze. You can even go through objects.

Yes, decay will occur every turn, but I think not on the turn you acquire your first charge, so there's a kind of delay.

People are aware of ghosts because many of them have picked up force crystals and manipulated stuff around people who know that there isn't anyone else nearby, and because they've felt ghosts sapping their strength. The Mages Guild was the first to become aware, but the knowledge spread quickly. They don't know much about you though, just that you're there and you can mess with stuff.

As for communication, you might be able to get a thought projecting skill or something to make yourself more apparent to those around you.

I realized a problem writing this turn though. You guys will have very slow growth for fairly short lived and uninfluential characters. So I'll roll a d50 for your growth, so your character can change more. Keep in mind that you're still supposed to have only a small impact on the game, so if it gets out of hand I'll have to change that. In general, if you're considering doing something extreme go do it away from the mercenaries so it doesn't impact their story line hugely.

Isn't our goal to escape the clutches of the sidelines, though? I fully intend to own towns and such by the end of this joint with my loyal companions.

Correct. I should have quoted one of them to clarify it was still a part of that conversation. I apologize for the confusion. Hopefully this next contract you guys will get enough equipment/experience that you start making progress on your characters goals though.
