Stabbed, eh? That's not a very nice thing to say to the only doctor around.

Unperturbed by the GM completely skipping over his action in favor of someone else's the disgusting scene, Waldrid grows a grim demeanor.

"The maggots are the least of our concern. If such foes are as resilient to damage in the future, we may have difficulty dealing with more than ten. Perhaps we should continue onwards?"

Before going to gather up supplies and make ready for leave, Waldrid turns to Kyle.

"Well done, fellow. Try not to be too disturbed, maggots are at least living creatures. Unless those were undead maggots. Hope you didn't miss any."

Ready up to leave.

Kyle's eye twitches as he begins trying to completely cleanse himself.
James tosses Kyle a vial of high-strength bleach, or something similar, assuming he has that in his supplies.

Kyle removes all the goo by the light of the fire as the others offer little comfort. Alyce takes a branch from the fire, burning their freshly dead lest it rise once more, and bathing the clearing in a pallid glow.
As the dawn light comes, Parbrook stretches, looking at the pile of ash. ‘Busy night?’ He grins morbidly. ‘We made good progress yesterday. If we can keep it up, we could be on site by late tonight even.’ As the wagons are reloaded, he notices the perturbed look on Sir Waldred’s face, and guessing its cause, speaks to him. ‘If you wish to fight, it is best to stand on guard - when the dead come it is hard to break away to rouse others until the enemy are knocking on their door anyway.’
((aka, if you don’t go on guard, you aren’t taking part in the combat unless the first line fall.))

Bob

While the wagons are being loaded, Bob lops off an arm-sized branch from a tree. With nothing else to do during the trip, he spends his time on the wagon attempting to carve the wood into a flute.

James spends his time on alchemical pursuits, finishing his greek fire. He then takes out his supplies of various serpent venoms, and distills a potent myotoxin from them.

Waldrid with an 'I' sharpens his sword in preperation for the upcoming conflicts.

((Just wondering, but how does armoring work? Say, Alyce's armor, which is rusted. Is there a way to improve that, rather than creating a new set of armor?))

"Well, guess I won't keep guard this night."

Having said that, Gunnar foraged along the wayside. There was bound to be some fresh food there - maybe even more tasty than the travel rations they had with them! And if he - perchance - could get his hands on some berries, or honey...

Forage away. As in - twice.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

(1) As the wagon starts for the day, the wheel buckles, cracking clean in two. Parbrook moves to fix it, but it'll take him a day or two to do so unaided.

[Auto] Bob finds a decent sized vranch and manages to remove it from the tree before the day really begins.
[Whitling:19-5;3-5] Whilst he is able to whittle it down to a good shape, he struggles to remove the interior, slightly damaging the work he has already done.
Wooden flute progress: 12/20 Whitling

[Auto] Kyle inventories his weapons. his cutlass is made of fine steel, a gift from his captain as customary upon a pirate’s first blood. The pistol is equally fine, with enough shot and powder accompanying it for 15 shots.

[Alchemy:11+1] James makes decent, if not brilliant, progress on the greek fire. Seeing that it is not quite ready, and that he used up the last of his poisons before leaving the city, he decides to finish the batch.
[Alchemy: 13+1] He finishes the batch without trouble. Alchemy level 2 gained!
Finished! Gained 3 vials of greek fire!
-2 volatile reagents

((Items can be improved, although this could damage the original item if things go wrong.))
[Weaponry: 9+1 (half xp as not exact skill)] Waldrid sharpens his blade on a rock found nearby, which serves its purpose as a whetstone well enough.
Shortsword gains 1 armour penetration on the next 2 hits!

[Alchemy/Medicine: 20+1+1] With only a meager handful of plants Alyce manages to create a healing poultice, which can reliably recover damage. It is, however, difficult to apply in combat.
Gained 1 healing poultice! - heal 2d4 health in 1 out of combat action.
No resources used

[Foraging: 20+2;10+2] Gunnar spends the days travel rummaging in the bushes and trees alongside the wagon’s path. Along with a few berries and strange looking herbs, he finds an odd looking mound of dirt. Upon further inspection, a wooden surface is revealed, and a minutes clearing later, the surface of a chest is revealed. He hauls it back to the carts, loading it on for future judgement, as it appears to be locked.
1 Locked chest gained! 3 venomous herbs gained! 4 food (berries) gained!

[Foraging 3;15] Clair is less fortunate in her findings, and only gains an armful of seemingly harmless fruit.
5 food (fruit) gained!

[Masonry:20+1] Whilst he would not normally have the time to make such a thing, the Father finds a block that is cracked in such a way as to ease the process greatly, and soon he possesses a stone cross, standing up to knee height.
Stone cross gained!
1 Stone used.

[Faithful:20+2] He spends the rest of the day praying over the cross, and whilst there is no visible sign of success, he feels his work is done.
