A cloth wrapped around her face to keep out the stench, Alyce made a fearsome sight.
"I'll take watch as well. Have no fear; I'll protect you from the dead."

Scout the terrain ahead: dangers, pitfalls, etc
sleep

For night:
Stand on watch

Waldrid does a double take back at Clair, stammering,

"I beg forgiveness, my lady, I did not notice your... I mean... I apologize."

Felling embarrassed and taken back by his mistake, Waldrid quickly composes himself, and resumes his task.

Well looks like three people are taking watch at night no need for me to lose sleep over it then. I will Pray to God for our safety. As well as help scavenge the area.

Look for useful supplies amongst the bodies
Pray over the party

"There is naught to fear during the day. The blessed fire illuminates the sky, and no dead scourge can bear it. We should gain what we can while it is available. The dead do not need it - this is my great grandmother's armour I am wearing, for example, and she would grant it to me if she were alive with a blessing."

"And I took this from a dead merchant!"
Kyle says indicating his cutlass.

(progress = 13)
[Foraging 6+2] This close to the town, most of the plants along the route seem relatively safe and stable. James does gather a couple of these, before stumbling upon a far more promising specimen. The flowers are bloated and upon being prodded with a stick, release a small belch of incredibly foul air. One of these flowers seems to contain the skeleton of a frog or toad. Regardless, James gathers them up.
+1 Stable reagents, +1 Volatile reagents

[Alchemy 20+2] James also begins to prepare the base oil for a batch of Greek fire. Without a proper workbench, he does not have time to add the finishing touches, but despite this he only uses a fraction of the normal ingredients up until this point.
Greek fire batch progress: Stable reagents 22/10, Volatile reagents 0/15
No resource used.

[Luck:8] Clair finds the corpses picked clean by patrols from the city. They do, however, stay dead

[Luck:12] The path ahead seems clear of further bodies - one or two sites allow the possibility for ambush, but still seem mercifully clear of threats.

[Auto] The metal contained in the wagons is all weapons grade - the king did not cut short on cost, it would appear. The anvil contained within the same cart is stored with a bag of metalworking tools also, and bricks to make a rudimentary forge.

[Luck: 20] Alyce accompanies Sir Waldred for some way before they part to search wider - she comes upon a small grove as she does so. Clearly a group of warriors once fought here, for their skeletons lie in various poses around its boundary. As she turns to leave, however, a sign on the helm of their leader catches her attention - a sun. She lifts it from the skull, before placing it on her head. Miraculously, it does not obscure her vision, and seems solid enough to take some blows.
Acquired Sun helm (1d4 armour, ???)

[Auto] Kyle find the bodies already picked through by both patrols and Clair. As does the father.

[Faithful:2+2] The father spends part of the ride in silent prayer, gaining 4 faith.

After having had a restfull day - very restfull, in fact - good gunnar volunteers for night duty, as soon as it comes up in conversation.

"Guess I'll keep an eye out tonight. Anyone wanting to keep me company?"

He also makes a point to give Clair a small wink at that point. For whatever reasons, ones own imagination may or may not deduce.
