At the request of Zecro, I've transferred over my character from his older Magical Burst game to the new system, though before I post it, I'd like to ask you other players a question. In the (still WIP) backstory of my character, her father dies and the hands of a witch, which has a major hand in her conflict and deciding to make the wish. I am reluctant to post my character sheet, however, because this backstory contrasts so much with the ones already posted. I'd like to ask you all if it seems too out of place or contrasts too much with those already posted.

I don't think so, honestly. I'd be more worried if all of our backstories and motivations were similar.

My character's background and motivation are simple: mom's corner store is failing, father works long hours to keep family afloat, character's free time almost entirely eaten up by sweeping out the store and doing homework. She turns to violence as a means of acting out her frustrations, runs into a witch (which she can't fight as a normal person), makes pact to be able to fight them.

Lotsa people don't seem to have too much to do with their parents, so I think having sommat parent-centric would be pretty cool.  Mine are sorta 'just there', personally.  <:x

Also @ Zecro, is it alright if I toss out Eat Anything and keep the custom one?  I'm not sure if it's OP or what.

Influencing Mortals is a rather easy thing to do, especially with a Magical Power. But just know that those with Magical Potential (ie humies to be contracted) will be able to resist it with effort.

Edit: Switched out to a Zweihander, shieldbashing to death has lost its appeal.

Violence solves all problems if you hit them hard enough.

If not under Neotemplar look for Vellum.

I uh, meant being able to buff the party for +2 every turn, but okay.

Also, so like, if any if you lot haven't, you should totally watch Madoka Magica, the show this is based off of.  It's pretty awesome.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZPSPFNupZw
(Don't click around too much, though, it's spoilers galore.  Make sure to get through at least episode 3)

Regarding the former, no. Also as a note I'm rolling Scatter-Die for your wish, for balance purposes.

I-I am not sure what that means, but okay.

Suggestions on what to do with her power then?  Ditch it and just grab one of the ones in the book?  Or can I tweak it to be acceptable?  Take an overcharge per use, lower the bonus, make it single-target.  Would really like an area/party-buff of some sort that doesn't cost Overcharge, but then, I would also like for my Meguca to live happily forever and that of course sorta defeats the point.
