A Che Guevara beret and one of those huge greatcoats except red with a giant hammer and sickle emblazoned on the back would be pretty tacky, wouldn't it? Let's not do that.
Hero Scarf - Red, of course. Flutters in the wind, even when there isn't any!
Color scheme is red. Besides rather thick, forearm length leather gloves and black, shiny knee-high boots, her costume is fairly typical.

Backstory
Did a current events assignment for school, and went online to get her article. Kept going because she thought it was neat, knowing about what was going on in the world, but stuff like revolutions, executions, and gross human rights abuses halfway around the globe made her question her Channel 5 sorta daily news. Also stuff like the widening gap between rich and poor in terms of wealth and often jail times. Has generally become reeeeally anti-establishment/authority-y. Signed up to Avaaz's newsletter and stuff.
Also plays table-top games, having got into it via their parents. Understands cyberpunk a lot better now.
Aforementioned parents are an Arcology Technician/Engineer (dad) and a Teacher (mom). Also has an annoying older brother.

Helpfully, the hammer is good for tenderizing, the sickle for chopping off, and the fire for impromptu searing.Magical Power: The People - MAGICAL CHARISMA. Can make a speech that can influence crowds pretty good, or something.
