I was daft and forgot to include Back-Story, also family members count for Relationships FYI.

Assume this thread as a signups thread from now on, Julius is asleep so I'll have him edit things properly tomorrow.

Spoiler: Character Sheet (click to show/hide)

Still very WIP, obviously, especially since relationships and junk still have to be worked out. Still, I'm aiming to be the tank/supporter of the party. Also, I like the relationship system since I can use my awesome social attribute to help repair any strain on them. Very useful when you can create strain to gain bonuses and heal damage.

With support and aggressor covered, I think I'll go cool and collected for a ranged sniper.  Completely WIP, of course, along with the others.  Start off reading up on mudang, noro, and yuta, and end up learning about dozens of kinds of obis.  The Wiki-walk strikes again.

I'll start work on mine after this LoL match ends.

Out of curiosity, how fucked would I be with a wish to "always be happy"?

It would probably be detrimental to morale seeing a Magical Girl who is happy even when her limb's are blown off.

Everlasting happiness may protect you from becoming a Witch due to grief, but it doesn't protect you from an uncomfortable case of sudden lynching because you happen to smile like a moron even if your best friend just died.

You know how everyone hates Kyubey because the critter does not emphasize. You'll be at the mercy of the same effect with smaller chances to come back.

Oh, and even if you don't get lynched, chances are seeing you cheerful and all despite something awful having happened just a moment ago will really just send your comrades in arms into despair a lot faster.

Holy schist, this thread is mica me sick.
DF Players never truly leave.  They just abandon the fortress for a few years and then reclaim.

Comrades in arms?

I'd like to point out that, barring personal cases or unusual behaviour like Mami, the magical girls are pretty much actively encouraged to be territorial and competitive with each other, because Grief Seeds to purify a tainted Soul Gem are not exactly common, and they tend to be single-use.

Oh man, I've wanted to into Magical Burst for a while, but have not found people to be the little girl with.

Wanna be the angriest disillusioned loli.  Maximum Hate.  Maybe wish for an end to world hunger, and now the news is like 'dude, no one needs to eat anymore, wtf', and gotta deal with the ramifications of suddenly realizing I've put farmers and chefs and all those sorts outta business and stuff.
Better yet, wish that nobody could die, and watch as the world burns in the flames of overpopulation and the fact that the little rat didn't prevent people from aging:P

While taking the Evil Genie route sounds plain awesome for a Bay12 PBP, I think it would be better for all if we limited Grand-Scale Wishes like that since only bad things can happen. Especially since in the Madoka universe it's heavily implied that your Wish's capabilities are based off
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Wait, so, would that wish be disallowed or something?  In ye Magical Burst setting, you don't get a wish right off the bat, and need to punch out 13 Youmawitches for their seeds before you can make a wish, right.  While starting a scenario post-having-made-that-wish would be pretty neato, I'm just saying that if I ever got that far, it would be pretty awesome to have my wish do something like that.

That raises another question:  Are we gonna go for the slightly-more-generic, MBurst setting, or will it be straight up Madoka-setting, except in that there arcology?  The wishes work different, so it's like, yeah.

Also uh, can I start with Technicolor Yawn?  It sounds hilarious.  Not necessarily as a veteran, I just want the Change.  >.>  Should I worry about it being a Magic Change, also, when I'm planing on Magic being my lowest thing.

Re: Always Happy - there's a Change for that, too - you're not always happy, but you are always grinning.

Farce, Credens Justitiam changes that aspect of character creation. You can either start with your wish (as is the norm for PMMM) or without making a wish, which means you're a normal person with the potential to become meguca.

re: Happiness: That's about what I was shooting for. There's a lot of good potential for fridge horror, and the style of play I'm aiming for is going to be... high risk, shall we say?

Rough map done courteousy of Julius Clonkus [TM] with suggestions by me.

Now that a good playerbase has been established I'll begin setting up the IC thread and finalizing things on my To-Do list.

Despite my attempts at Standardization it seems that a lot of players are getting confused with certain aspects of the sheet, therefor I request that all who have to simply remove the second Magickal Power and the Effect that one would assume come with it. If only to make everyone's life easier.
