yes I just edited the post to write this deal with it
Now we're entering heavy interaction this is a good idea, especially as I often update my own map as people submit actions.

Year Three - Summer

As the days rolled on, the heretics drew closer to one another, expanding out, growing fields and preparing for war...

In Summer you can: Expand, Improve, Raze, Raid, Improve, Dismantle, as well as doing a heresy-specific action. Now that we're mostly all neighbours, please submit your actions in turn order and please do not edit your posts (especially after someone else has posted after you). Correcting illegal moves or obvious errors is fine, changing what you did entirely based on what someone has just posted is not.

Ooh, I just realized I might have screwed myself up. Uh. So, when it says "A player has a number of actions equal to their starting population," does that refer to their population at the start of the season, or their population at the start of their specific turn? e.g Player A is at their minimum population of 5 and takes their turn after Player B, Player B conquers two cities from Player A on his turn, does Player A have 5 actions or 3 on his turn?

You take actions equal to your population as it is at the start of your turn, so in your example, that would be 3 actions in player A's go.

This might change in future versions, but as it stands, you can Forage in forests with cities.

Fortify: Increase the defence of the tile by +1 (a tile can only ever be fortified once, and conquered terrain loses its fortifications)

This hasn't changed from the first game.

Babe solemnly regarded the strategic map laid out in his war room. The Djinn had refused to acknowledge the Neutral Zone, and in the Spring they had swarmed into the mountains. Babe's own landgrab hadn't been nearly aggressive enough, and now it was a race to secure the last mountains in the Southern Stone Wall...

A frantic messenger burst through the door. "Djinn! In the desert! They're past the Wall!"

Babe cursed; the Grit War had come. Striding from the war room, he began shouting commands to his waiting messengers. "Reinforce the fortifications! Rally the pikers!"

"Make ready to evacuate the Tower of Babelon!"
