A generator rattles to life, filling the air with warm noise. The lights replace the darkness within an instant. There is a light buzzing noise. You are alone in a room. The door is locked. You cannot remember much. What does the room look like? What is your name?

This is going to be an experimental RTD. To join, you must give a piece of information about the room and give a name to your character, but don't give anything else. Try to remain within the context of a modern science facility, though anything that requires near-future tech is perfectly fine. Best answers get chosen.

You both wake up in a room that appears to have once been a generator room. There is a large electrical generator that appears to be off. On the walls appears to be steamy fanfiction for the Twilight series. Well, whoever owned this room was certainly crazy. Perhaps it's that other guy: you don't like the cut of his jib.

The lock on your door appears to be a padlock secured to the handle. It looks like it's made out of iron, but appears to be slightly rusty.

You appear to be in a kitchen's freezer. Luckily, it's off. A frozen corpse is lying in the corner, staring at you with accusing eyes. She is wearing a white jumpsuit with a lab coat. On the wall is a drawing of an ear and the words "I AM DEAD". Way to state the obvious, love. Under it is "I = 9"

The lock on your door appears to be an electronic lock with a keypad with numbers on it.

Dark Paladin and Whitius Opus
You appear to be in some sort of a bedroom, possibly in a dormitory. There is only about six by six meters of space, and most of that is taken up by two bunk beds. The walls are covered in bloody handprints, runes, and what appears to be drawings of a meteorite. Weirdly, there doesn't seem to be any corpses.

Your door appears to be locked from the outside. There is two slots on the door: one for viewing the outside, and another for getting things from the outside.
