"I don't know. I think if he could, he probably would have said something about it, for now we probably should get the treasure."
Vandertz gestured towards a small building made of wood-Apparently it wasn't visited too often. Soon he opened the door to check around, with the absurd quantity of dusty clothes they were greeted with it was certain to say they were in the "treasure room".
"Well, time to start looking I suppose, is everyone here?"

Lycan didn't waste any time and started looking.

"'Course."

Sadly for the group it was a river of dusty clothes, so it was difficult to find something valuable there-At least some of the outfits were still in one piece; formal clothes, hats, helmets, gloves.

After some search Kat found something that wasn't just another piece of fabric:
Quote
Roll: 9!
Something was glowing a lot below all those old dusty things! Soon she reached the treasure, and it was indeed a treasure! It was a bracelet holding a glowing gemstone, and just her touch was enough to make it spark in reaction to her magic.
Mysterious Bracelet obtained!
Lycan was the next one to try his luck in that mess of clothes:
Quote
Roll: 4!
Unfortunately for him what he found wasn't as impressive as Kat's treasure but it certainly was going to be useful in combat yet; below all that pile of fabric there was a bunch of pilums wrapped in rusty chains.
Iron Pilum obtained!
After a while, Kaarina was the next one to find something useful in that mess:
Quote
Roll: 4!
Same as Lycan, it wasn't something bad, but it could be a tad more useful.
Iron Axe obtained!
Below a bunch of old socks and gloves she found an iron axe that apparently never had been used in a fight.

"Look at that! This is a treasure room after all...As long as we hold our breath with all this dust. Gordon, Aura join the party! "

Kat disappeared in the back of the room, diving so deep into a pile of clothes that only her boots could be seen.

"Oh, hey, there's some cooooool stuff in here! Check this out!"

Her feet wiggled for a moment as she tried to figure out how to extricate herself before they disappeared into the small hill as well... shortly before she erupted from the pile of clothes, sending socks everywhere, and jammed a hat on her head!

"What do you think? Suits me, huh?"

"I'll hex ya!"

Giggling to herself, Katerina pulled herself completely out of the pile and tromped her way back through knee-deep piles of accoutrements slowly, as if walking through a swamp, until she was back with the group.

"Oh, and I found this too!"

The witchthief held up the glowing bracelet.

"What do you think it is?"

"We can ask the Elder Crystaloid about this too I guess. Hey, Grandpa, you found anything yet?"

"Nice hat, Kat! I like it."
Vandertz inclined his body forward a bit trying to get a look on the Bracelet too before shrugging.
"Yeaaah, it might be better to talk to the Crystaloid about it. But it does look powerful!"
Now it was Gordon's turn to try his luck on that mess:
Quote
Roll: 1!
Ore Roll: 4!
Unfortunately for him it wasn't something -that- useful by itself. It was a heavy block of fine metal, used for repairing high quality weapons.
Vandertz rubbed the side of his head and glanced away for a moment trying to hold back a chuckle.
"Riiiight, now at least we know who should make bets if we ever think about gambling. Aura, let's see if you can get as lucky as the 'witch' over there."

"I thought so!"

Kat reached up and pulled at the brim a little, before giving the floppy tip a little flick.

"C'mon Aura, give it a shot! Something in here's gotta catch your eye."

Lycan was never too hard to find, standing out like a sore thumb in his heavy crimson armor. After a while, he left the piles of clothes and gear with a bundle of short, fat iron spears.

"I got somethin'. Not as shiny as the bracelet, but better to toss at people."

"Oh, they're plenty shiny for what they're used for."

"Yeah, pretty shiny for something that is going to be throw against someone's body!"

"But I do wonder why people would leave these behind, they aren't even damaged. Same goes to the bracelet, it is still glowing so I doubt it is out of energy yet."

Gordon stared at the lump of metal, a sudden and unwelcome memory of a certain All Hallow's Evening of his youth flashing into his mind. Rather than an apple fritter or a handful of sweet nuts, the much younger Gordon had received a rock in his treasure bag during the festivities.

: "Bah. Knew this would be a waste of me time."
