: She's right you know, as soon as you nabbed the key from my hand you instantly turned to "I cAn'T lEt YoU lIvE" so it's only appropriate to say right back at ya. Speaking of, where is that key?

Seraphim searched Rundum for the key.

"I am reminded now of what being isolated for centuries can do to someone traumatized. You need a supportive community...I guess your followers were like that before that hate became ingrown into- um, all this. Besides, we're progressing! You're finally talking more!"

"You know, with the exception of you and those skeletons trying to reach you, I don't think we've met any evil gods, and I know we met at least one. It seems to me like you're just trying to get us to feel sorry for you 'cause you can't beat us."

: "How much do you really know about the state of the world nowadays anyway? Wana bet that your info is so out of date as to be worthless?"

"How dense must you be to assume I know nothing outside the world when I literally mentioned your stories moments ago? I know plenty about the outside. Just because I am imprisoned, it doesn't mean I cannot find ways to hear and watch from afar."
"And would you call a god that was intoxicating you and your friends to the point of being unable to move 'friendly'? Because I saw that as well, and it is only a matter of time for more gods to take their physical form and fight each other and turn this continent into their battlegrounds."
"As usual, mortals are trying to sound clever when they aren't. So amuse me, as I am surely lying about something you saw with your own eyes...How exactly do you intend to stop those gods outside from destroying everything?"
"By this point it is clear this continent needs to savior...No...It clearly needs something else. Perhaps it is time for me to give up on some ideals."

: "Fine, then time to give you the blatantly obvious answer: one step at a time, that's how. It won't be quick or easy, and won't involve cheap fairy-tale answers about perfect worlds, but it'll happen anyway. Because that's what people do. Doesn't even necessarily have to have anything to do with us. fact is, most probably wont. People are people, not slaves, and those gods will be taken down one by one."

: "annnnnd could we please pretend I never said anything so stupid sappy? I mean, it's true, but it's still just so cliche. geez. Not really my thing."

Die? HAHAHAHA! Yes, I see it clearly now, what mankind needs is not a god; they need a demon to guide them. They clearly cannot take the correct decisions on their own. Someone to make them fear for their miserable souls will do better."
"I will gladly give my previous thoughts away if it means placing you mortals in your place. BEHOLD..."

"Ah, yes. Thank you for reminding me of that."
With a single sway of his hand, Rundum made the arrows of the quiver launch right against the owner to turn Sena into a pincushion.
"This is not a fight against a wounded god anymore. You are fighting perfection."

"...Huh."

Katerina thought for a moment, then turned to Even.

"You know, you were able to do all kinds of stuff earlier. Think maybe you can think him out of existence?"

"What the fuck?!" Lycan drew the Soul Spear and fired it as if on reflex, aiming straight at the demented god's face.
