As Aura slumped against the tree, thoroughly disabled in the sense of continuing fighting and unable to aid herself, she concentraded on meditating to stifle the pain. A trickle of warm, red fluid came from the wound, and she instead satisfied her thoughts by feeling what she could and acknowledging it. She wondered if she could do the same to others--without the 'death' part happening; a lot more folks on the same side would help a lot in the bigger scale considering what we would all face, was one thought in mind.

Seeing Ociel come up was an uplifting event. She greeted him with a smile as her wounds were treated, very grateful for the people she ventured with.

Kat didn't bother getting up. She knew the minute she did she was just going to get stabbed and fall over again. She might as well make them go to the effort of bending over to stab her. Instead she just gave Ociel a brief, weak thumbs up.

As Vandertz was near Kat after dealing with the Maceman, he certainly noticed that she still didn't get up even after receiving assistance.

"...And I am sorry. We probably should have planned our defense better, I didn't expect them to advance so quickly."
