Basicly show off your siege engine layouts in your fort, the times you used it, the fails that came or successes!

I remember once haveing placed one in the main dining hall, pointed it at the biggest crowd and
loaded it with wooden arrows and fired. As expected, minor bruises which healed away quickly.
No Dorf even paid a heed to it.

Then i loaded it with an iron tipped one. Hilarity ensued. :P

I built a long bridge into the fort.  Like 8 wide and 100+ long and stationed siege engines covering it.

To test it I put all the spare pets in the fort in the firing zone and started firing.

Two years later only the rabbits were still alive, after hundreds of 'glances off harmlessly messages'

Haven't used siege engines since.  But I gained a new respect for rabbits.

Depends on the ammo you used really.
Wooden bolts are pretty much harmless. iron tipped ones.... can pierce through several enemies simultan.
You did use only wood i take?

I once had a single catapult repell a human siege with a single shot. The spinning andesite hit their elephant-mounted leader in his thumb, shattering the bone, and the entire squad ran for their lives, leaving their agonizing general to his fate.
