Anne Nothrie, of the nothrie merchant family. An energetic girl, she never really kept the books with the precision that her family would have liked, and she found the work absurdly boring. So they apprenticed her out, giving her a letter of reccomendation and sending her to a family a couple towns over, to learn to be an artist. That... didn't happen. Anne left home all right... and she went to the army recruitment station. Her family found out of course, but by then she was well into training to be a pegasus knight. So they just had to accept it. But even the army wasn't enough for Anne. She found the army life restrictive, the duties dull, the training repetative. She could fight, but she couldn't live freely that way. So when reenlistment time came around, she didn't. She got a loan from her family, bought out her mount and gear, and was honorably discharged. She didn't tell her family about that last part though. They had been scandelized by her joining the army at first, but were proud of her when they'd calmed down, and were firm supporters of the military. Anne decided to leave them with that pride. But what shewanted to do, was go to bounty hunting. She'd seen the bounty boards, and found the thrill of the chase, the freedom of flight, the unknown of what awaited her each day, absolutely wonderful. So that became her life. Writing home the occasional lie about her duty station and army life, and spending her days chasing those who wanted to not be found, a job where her own unpredictability was an asset, not a weakness. and she loved it.most recent edit: collection of mugs added.
