Edit: I would say toss the DEF Shard for Lycan, he will keep on the front line most of times, so all the DEF he can get counts. As for SPD, dunno... Dosil probably needs it, I mean...on the next map he probably will get doubled by almost every enemy.

I believe we should buy Pure Water. Having at least one unit with Lycan plus a Vulnerary would allow him to deal with magic classes much better since he has a good HP and enough AS to avoid being doubled.

Dosil probably will need some extra SPD to not get doubled. As for DEF, I still say, toss it on any of the tankers. (Or someone needing DEF) :v

I dunno. I don't think anyone has actually ever played that promotion tree, Solymr. We've had merc->hero and are going to have merc->commander in NoH, and we've had a myrmidon or two across the various games, but I don't believe anyone's ever played a fencer.

As for the shard, I guess I'm OK with Gordon for DEF and Dosil for SPD.

EDIT: Unrelated question. What is the most popular class across all the FEFs? I'm going to guess probably Sage.

This. And Gordon isn't supposed to stay in the frontline all the time, and considering he won't be able to attack until his second promotion, the best shards for him would be MAG and SKL, especially SKL as he barely rolled SKL. (Actually I am not even sure if he rolled it once)

I should remind you that Nanoha is our ace against undead. Light magic trumps them, but fire is super effective.

And about shadow sword I might give it a try. I'll post a preview of what I have in mind.
