Bio (WIP?):
A rough and tumble nineteen-year-old girl from Rundum, Kat isn't afraid to leap out and grab life by the horns. She learned the thieving trade from her mother, Autumn, and has spent more time in prison than out of it. Yet, all the same, her spirit is undiminished by constant stints in the big house; in fact, she only started traveling because she'd gotten to know all the guards by name and her hometown wasn't offering her any new adventures. A trip across the sea seemed just the thing she needed to get some excitement back in her life.
It turns out that she had an unhappy childhood both because of her ability to cast dark magic, and because of her relationship with her mother. As a result, she has a deep self-loathing and her cheerful demeanor is mainly a front because she doesn't feel she's worth anyone's time or concern - if they believe she's all right, they won't worry about her. She joined the quest not just for excitement or adventure, but to prove to herself, and maybe everyone else, that she does indeed have some worth as a person.
