I never saw the pre-grumpy Kaarina. Who's the Myrm, by the way?

I had a bunch of mugs with Elend's eyes closed when they were meant to be open. I've edited it to be how I wanted it to be, so sorry about that guys.

No need to apologize to me. Some of my characters speak with their eyes closed A LOT. :P

I remember Chris doing that a lot, come to think of it.

Yeah, but mine was UNINTENTIONAL. xD

Yeah, I like having them talk with their eyes closed, but that one was just excessive.

Leo is a bigger offender than Chris, since at least Chris mostly stopped once I changed mugs to one that was more expressive. :P

I thought it was intentional so I had moved in for the kill. Post proper and edited.

Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mess with Lesan/Sophie or react to that.

Hmm, I have been notified that Elend's dramatic-ness is a bit overblown. My original intention of it was to portray someone who had resigned to imminent death and then been essentially snatched from its jaws, but it seems I went a little too far in the interactions with USEC'S character. After this point, I'll try and have her spiral down slighly, though not entirely since she's a bit of a flowery person regardless.

Sorry if she seemed a bit... Strange.

Or, maybe you could've inserted detail into it which would explain her way of interaction, maybe? :P
Detailing one's thought processes would also help in portrayal, even if you're writing her thoughts out--what matters is you write it in a way she's thinking about it, instead of just telling it.

The way I was personally imagining it was that her mind was initially in a semi-catatonic state due to her apparent impending death. (The INSANELY overdone first post and a few posts afterward tried to portray that a little, if badly.) At the moment, she's still recovering and doesn't quit see the battle as 'real' yet. She's subconsciously over dramatizing things because she's still a little 'off.' What I did was continue with that for too long, rather than slowly spiraling down to natural level.

And, as I said, she's a very flowery person. She'll still be like she is now later on, just a little bit less... Extreme. >_>

However, I'll go back and edit her thought processes to make it seem better to the people who read it afterwards. :v
I'm making it worse... I'm definitely making it worse. >_>
Oh sigh, this is hard to do.

Let us just say she was tense and went overboard and that's enough.

Lesan needs the birds and bees talk now, because Sophie apparently already had hers.

Welcome back Gamerboy. Yes, it's back again! But we could get moving faster if people posted and the GM ran the pre-dancing actions. Hint hint.

HINT. HINT.

Are you suggesting something, Caellath? Because if you are I have no idea what it could possibly be.
