Now that I checked the map again, I think I can get the plan to work with a single dance from Sophie as long as nothing goes too wrong.

We need to establish a foothold on that pirate ship before they escape with our delicious loot. I couldn't do it earlier because Lycan would be lolwtfpwned but now there are smaller chances of that happening. If I get danced two turns in a row by Sophie, Lycan can probably get in there and not die. Hopefully.

Is that what we're doing? Hang on, I'll clear you a landing pad.

Edit: Praef, I forgot last level, but Discipline activated. Gimme my B in Recurve, please!

EDITEDIT: Wait, why did I attack twice? He had six hp left, it should've only taken one shot.

My plan is the following: after being danced by Sophie, Lycan moves to 11,5 and uses Pure Water. In his second turn, he does nothing but Hold The Line to keep pirates away during the enemy phase. Sha1 and Mag3 will most likely want to fling some magic at him and in return he'll spear them. If both enemy attacks hit, he'll be down to 7 hp.

During the following turn, I'll have Lycan move to 12,4 (since jumping to the other ship spends 1 MOV) and use a Vulnerary to recover his hp to 17. There'll be two pirates able to attack him, but even if both do hit he'll have 1 hp remaining and at least one will have been killed. From there he'll be able to move away to clean things up with ranged attacks and with that done, Mag5 and Vlad are going to be his only worries.

In case things do not go as planned during the first turn, I'll need a second dancing at the second turn.

"Cheap moonshine tastes way better."

It wasn't that expensive and we have quite a bit of cash for those amenities. The nature of the map and the enemy positioning means it's either that or having Gordon constantly healing Lycan. Truth is I've been lucky so far and Lycan dodged the attacks of both shamans.

That may be true, but we should still try to conserve the stuff. There's no telling when we might have to go a few maps without visiting a store, and even if we do visit a store there's no guarantee that Pure Water will be in stock.

If you were really that concerned, you would have bought some too, just saying. :v

The group should have bought more Vulneraries and Pure Water bottles, but I only had Lycan buy one of each having his own situation in mind. Back then I considered buying a few extra units but Even hadn't been confirmed as our storage NPC.

On the good side, we'll probably land on another port city and we'll be able to stock on those. Probably.

I never anticipated we'd have someone gulping it down every couple of turns. Not this early in the game, anyways :P
Besides, its not my problem. Gordon has little to fear from enemy mages, and he doesn't burn nearly a thousand gold per map trying to tank them either :v
