Forever on Fire
« on: February 16, 2014, 07:01:07 pm »

Would it be possible to create a metal or something that's always on fire, or at least really really hot?

I thought that maybe I could mess around with the specific heat or something; will that sort of tactic work?

If not, any ideas on modding in lightning? Not to actually strike things during weather, of course; I'm modding in wizards and want a lightning spell, and saw shooting really hot metal as a workaround.

Specific heat is just a measure of the thermal conductivity of the materials. What you probably want is a material with a low ignition point and no HEAT_DAM_POINT.

For a permanently hot metal, use [MAT_FIXED_TEMP:x]
