Magma is actually nothing. It is simply molten rock, and its properties are therefore dependent on its temperature and material content.

A magma battery would be hilarious, but once the magma cools and rock/crystals start to solidify on the inside of the container, it's all over.

All I'm hearing is "magma fuel cell powered hybrid ferrari" for some reason.

Super hot, super cool its the new ferrari XL-1 hybrid. Fast, sleek, awesome design with new lava liquid energy, fast charging, fast speed, fast energy. warning do not mess with batter,y do not touch battery after extended use,, battery life can be short. if battery leaks do not touch molten rock or metal. Do not lick battery as burning and melting of tong can occur,

You could correct his spelling of 'tong' or criticise him for ending his sentence on a ','

We could also correct his incorrect spelling of 'battery' as 'batter'.

Or we could mock him for proposing a magma-battery-driven car as a realistic idea.

Or we could ask Toady to add in magma-powered minecarts.
And then fill those minecarts with magma and make a shotgun. Of magma-powered magma-throwing minecarts. Possibly made out of hardened magma.

We can already make magma-filled minecart cannons.

Rumrusher and I already figured out how to throw ourselves or others around, after doing that it feels boring just chucking inanimate materials around, and yes I could correct the spelling but there are some non-native english speakers here and probably some mobile users as well.

Or a magma-propelled aircraft or spacecraft.

Ok, so if we add an extra six months to the deadline, could you create an amphibious magma-propelled ATV? Preferably one with a ramjet attached.
You do realize that ramjets can only be used in very, very fast aircraft, right?
They don't use mechanical components. Because at the speeds ramjets are well-suited for, mechanical components are another liability.

OK, done with the engineering complaint.
How do you make something that runs on MAGMA? Not in DF, of course. In DF, everything runs on either water power, magma power, or beard/alchohol power. The last two are pretty much the same thing.
Simple, you fill a tank with magma after coating the insides of the tank with thermoelectric materials.

Use mechanisms. What kind of engineer are you.  :-\

Also, It is quite preferable for the chassis of this artifact-quality feat of mechanical artisanship to be a Ferrari.

Make new helmet from Kobold Child. Parade about in the nearest kobold encampment.

I pictured Reg strutting around with a kobold kid sitting on her head, still alive, while other kobolds stand there looking more confused than usual.

Perhaps wrapped about her head like headband, looking confused?
