It's always great to see new escaped lunatics in the thread!  And hearing that people enjoy the story...that really goes a long way to helping me put out a new update every week, guys. :)

He's not an escaped lunatic, but hooray!

If misty gets a mood, it will only be for cheese. She will enter a trance in her darkest hour, and against all odds create the greatest cheese that has ever existed, in some way that either saves the day somehow, or as part of a last stand.

Bard, the poster before him, is.

Thanks :) I'm generally pretty content just to lurk quietly on a forum as anonymous, but TLCM won me over enough to register so that I could start throwing in my 2 cents. I love how the comic manages to be so endearing, even while staying true to its backdrop of the lowkey bat**** insanity that is the world of Dwarf Fortress.

Adding an extra voice to those who enjoy this story immensely (actually registered a while ago to blitz read it all without resorting to bookmarks)

I wonder... Misty needs to be alone? Perhaps... withdrawing from society?

Haul darkerdaffodil's corpse to the trees. Let him here. eat him

Also a Reg interlude would be nice... feeling that misty isn't THAT interesting right now.

Honestly, I'm just wondering where Misty is going to go from here. I would rather stick with her until she at least gets settled (relatively speaking) in the fortress. I feel like we've barely picked back up with her and it would be a shame to jump away from her so quickly. It's like when an author finally gets back to your favorite character only for the chapter to be a bare 3 to 4 pages before going back to other less interesting characters.

As per usual, I'm amazed by the presentation here.  Is that platform over the river for dropping garbage or drowning prisoners?

I'd say to stick with Misty.  It's bad storytelling otherwise.  With Reg and Holt's latest scene, we got plot and emotional advancement; with Misty's latest, we got emotions but nothing's happened (edit: to advance the plot).

She's starting in on chapter 4.  Let's follow her awhile.  Misty: run on until you find a nice comforting lever room.

I feel like we need some kind of resolution or a bigger cliffhanger with Misty first.

Yeah, I don't think we're ready to leave Misty just yet either.
